To kick off our annual tipster reviews, we're happy to introduce some of the best new services to emerge on the Tipstrr site during the course of 2024.
For the first time that we can remember, our top ten is made up entirely of horse racing tipsters, and their performance during their bedding-in period has already been enough to suggest they might be worth following as we head into 2025.

An overall 15% win rate all but doubles to a 29% each-way place rate, and having signed off 2024 with a 16/1 success, Door 3 celebrated the New Year with a whopping 33/1 winner that suggests that its profit line is set to maintain its current upward trajectory.
9th Groundhog Horse racing
- 277 tips, 13.0% ROI, £718 profit
In ninth place Groundhog launched in April, and this varied service finished the year as strongly as any of our best tipsters, with September (36% ROI), October (39%), November (30%) and December (21%) combining to add over £800 to the kitty from just 120 selections.
Averaging barely more than one tip per day, the service looks ideal for anyone with a more moderate betting appetite, as should a willingness to diversify between short-priced race-winner bets, and slightly riskier each-way selections.
8th Looking For Value Horse racing
- 858 tips, 13.5% ROI, £4,224 profit
The each-way racing service of Looking For Value has been following the advice of its name to great effect since setting up shop on Tipstrr in July, with an overall 13% win rate trebling to a robust 40% success rate when each-way places are taken into account.
A healthy output of 30-40 tips per week, usually published the evening before racing, have maintained a solid 13% yield that added more than £4K into the betting bank in the latter half of 2024.
7th Golden Gallop Tips Horse racing
- 1425 tips, 14.6% ROI, £4,162 profit
The each-way service of Golden Gallop Tips has enjoyed some stellar success since setting up shop last June, with seven months of upward-trending success peaking with October’s whopping 143% yield that earned our monthly Best New Tipster accolade.
With all selections published in a convenient early-morning window, there’s plenty of time to place bets while also enjoying the benefits of BOG, and the service looks tailor-made for anyone who enjoys walking the risk/reward tightrope of high-tariff each-way betting.
6th Flat Flat Horse racing
- 840 tips, 15.8% ROI, £2,650 profit
There has been nothing flat about the profit line of Flat Flat since he first launched his each-way service in May of last year, and it’s worth noting that his stats measure up equally well against BSP.
A 13% win rate climbs to a tasty 46% each-way place rate, with healthy profit spikes in September (39% ROI) and November (32%) combining to add more than £2K to the kitty in those two months alone.
5th Pegasus Naps Horse racing
- 267 tips, 16.5% ROI, £882 profit
Our top five kicks off with Pegasus Naps, who has experienced mixed fortunes over the first seven months of service, but when it’s been hot, it’s been sizzling, with May (47% ROI), July (62%), September (63%) and November (35%) all ensuring that the long-term profit line has maintained a healthy upward trajectory.
Averaging around 30 tips per month, Pegasus is very much a nap-of-the-day service that is occasionally more than willing to combine low-odds singles into much more lucrative doubles and trebles, all helping to convert a 40% win rate into a steady flow of achievable profit.
4th HVTips Horse racing
- 1294 tips, 16.7% ROI, £4,314 profit
But for a solitary drawdown month in November, HV Tips might well have challenged for top spot, as his profit line has otherwise maintained a very satisfying upward climb since its starting point last May.
Never afraid to explore the entire betting market, this tipster’s eye for value is perfectly illustrated by the fact that 14 of December’s 29 winners were priced 4/1 or less, while half a dozen landed at odds between 8/1 and 12/1.
3rd Keeping Horse racing
- 849 tips, 20.0% ROI, £3,392 profit
The first of our podium places is occupied by Keeping, whose busy each-way service has been enjoying almost uninterrupted success since first appearing on Tipstrr in June, thanks to a consistent 13% win rate that climbs to an impressive 36% each-way place rate.
This tipster’s profile page apologises for the sometimes sporadic times of his tip publication, but that is a small price to pay for the resultant betting value that has converted average odds of around 9/1 into an all-time 20% ROI, with well over £3K of profit already tucked safely away in the betting bank.
2nd Best 2 Horse racing
- 389 tips, 21.8% ROI, £1,699 profit
After bursting onto the Tipstrr stage as Best New Tipster runner-up in October (55% ROI), Best 2 rounded off 2024 with December’s best-yet 57% ROI that saw him quickly graduate onto our main monthly leaderboard to rub shoulders with our horse racing elite.
Indeed, December's success put the icing on seven straight profitable months since launching in June, all thanks to an ability to identify each-way value from the middle of the betting market, with a 16/1 winner on New Year’s Eve a fitting finale to what had already been a stellar introduction to the Tipstrr platform.
1st The Lot Horse racing

And so we bring you 2024's Best Emerging Tipster in the form of The Lot, who first appeared on Tipstrr in July and has wasted no time carving a niche for himself within the Tipstrr community.
Beyond a useful 14% win rate, The Lot’s 39% place rate means that more than one in three of his selections have been making the frame, and at average odds nudging 9/1, that’s been enough to put almost £3K of clear winnings into the coffers.
It’s plain to see that this promising newcomer knows his way around the each-way market, while his profile page correctly boasts that his numbers also stack up well against BSP, which is often a good indicator of a service capable of supplying long-term achievable growth.
