Meet December's best football tipsters

Our last monthly countdowns of 2021 continue with December's Best Football Tipsters, which gives us a platform to display the wide range of betting strategies on which some of our best services are built.

One click on any of the links will reveal more information about each tipster, and provide details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: If you have previously enjoyed a trial with a tipster, then you are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

10th Underdog Mentality - 117 tips, 39.1% ROI

Profit: £914.80 to £20 average stake

Our leaderboard kicks off with Underdog Mentality, who specialises in identifying outsider value and whose 39% ROI would have earned a much higher spot in this list if it had come off the back of more consistent form. That high-tariff strategy finally came to fruition to provide a timely return to profits in December, and a service capable of achieving almost 40% in monthly gains might just be worth a closer look.

9th Zeta Bet - 44 tips, 15.7% ROI

Profit: £138.14 to £20 average stake

In ninth place we present Zeta Bet, who provides a double-pronged strategy aimed predominantly at Asian Handicap tips around the even money line, laced with a healthy dose of combination bets that are designed to convert odds-on favourites into more lucrative doubles. The result has been ten monthly gains out of thirteen on the site, with a profitable 2021 culminating in December's tidy 15% yield.

8th Asian Football Betting - 27 tips, 20.1% ROI

Profit: £108.80 to £20 average stakes

After topping this list with a 47% ROI in November, ninth position might seem something of a comedown for Asian Football Betting. However, the fact that his eponymous betting strategy has consolidated with another 20% yield in December only goes to confirm the long-term sustainability of this successful service, rounding off a year that has yielded a solid 8.2% ROI and over £1200 in profits to level £20 stakes.

7th Betgod - 43 tips, 22.6% ROI

Profit: £194.46 to £20 average stake

The two-tiered service of Betgod has enjoyed success in the tennis betting market in the past, but it was his expertise in football that produced December's spike in his monthly profit line. His selective strategy across various football betting markets was rewarded with 28 winners from 43 tips for a 63% win rate and a solid 22.6% ROI.

6th Lazy - 38 tips, 27.4 % ROI

Profit: £207.93 to £20 average stake

It's still early days for the fledgling service of Lazy, but there has been enough success in his first seven months to hint at the potential of sustained long-term profitability. A willingness to explore a wide range of betting markets keeps betting varied and interesting, and that diversity has been rewarded with December's 53% win rate at average odds of around 6/4 to accrue a promising 27% ROI.

5th Lion's Mind - 103 tips, 41.0% ROI

Profit: £844.60 to £20 average stake

It hasn't all been plain sailing for Lion's Mind, who has experienced mixed fortunes since rebooting his service last January, but rounded off 2021 with one of his best monthly returns of the year. Never afraid to look for outsider value, that sense of betting adventure was rewarded when Reading's women shocked the football world by beating red-hot favourites Chelsea in the WSL at astronomical odds of 55/1.

4th Macak11 - 22 tips, 36.5% ROI

Profit: £173.80 to £20 average stake

Anyone looking for a service that won't stretch time or bankroll too much might like the look of Macak11, whose selective service has enjoyed five straight profitable months and earned a tidy 19% ROI over the last six months. Focusing predominantly on the goals-oriented Over/Under markets, December's sedate output of just 23 tips was rewarded with 14 winners for an impressive 68% success rate at around the even money mark.

3rd Fox Pro Tips - 53 tips, 45.7% ROI

Profit: £484.46 to £20 average stake

A measure of a tipster's potential is often how it bounces back from an adverse period, and Fox Pro Tips showed his resilience after a difficult November with a tasty 45% profit spike in December, sustaining the upward trend of the last year. Success in various goals-related markets was augmented by a healthy win rate in combination bets, a productive way of converting odds-on bets into more lucrative doubles.

2nd Value Maximiser - 43 tips, 49.6% ROI

Profit: £426.60 to £20 average stake

It's been another good month for Value Maximiser, who occupies our runner-up spot for the second consecutive month after having first emerged with a top-five appearance in October's best new tipster rankings. His high-tariff strategy looks to exploit over-priced outsider value exclusively in the 1X2 market, and after three straight profitable months that have earned a combined £1100 to £20 stakes, this in-form service might just be one to follow throughout 2022.

1st Speculate To Accumulator - 31 tips, 84.2% ROI

Profit: £521.96 to £20 average stake

Another tipster to have graduated from our Best New Tipster rankings is Speculate To Accumulator, who tops this group after rounding off 2022 in spectacular style. Combination bets might not be to everyone's betting taste, but it's hard to ignore a service capable of producing a 29% win rate and a whopping 84% ROI from a regular daily supply of fivefold accumulators. Each leg of those bets is a firm odds-on favourite in its own right, but the extra value is gained by converting those five low-yielding singles into high-yielding accumulators that average between 6/1 and 8/1 in combined value. Of course, patience and discipline is required for such a high-tariff strategy, but STA's nine winners from 31 tips in December suggest a niche strategy that could add an extra edge to any betting portfolio.

So we draw the curtain on another month, and indeed another year, with another tasty list of in-form football tipsters whose services appear built to last. Congratulations again go out to Speculate To Accumulator for coming out on top of such a high-quality bunch, and we should also recognise the many tipsters who just missed out on this month''s rankings, but all of whom remain a valued part of our ever-expanding Tipstrr community.
