July's best football tipsters

Published

It's undoubtedly been a bizarre football season, which makes it both surprising and doubly reassuring that so many of our leading football tipsters have still managed to hit the ground running and produce some amazing results throughout July

Football is well and truly back and we've gradually become used to the lack of spectators, the fake crowd noises, the five subs and the mid-half drinks breaks. We've also become used to the outstanding level of performance maintained by many of our leading football tipster services since footy resumed less than two months ago..

Many of our leading football tipsters hit the ground running to create their own new normal which has not been too dissimilar to their old normal - namely, winner after winner and profit lines trending ever upwards.. With monthly returns ranging from 18% to 64%, these tipsters have continued to send their ever-increasing number of happy members laughing all the way to the bank.

10th EFL Advisory - 22 tips, 21.6% ROI

Profit: £95.00 to £20 average stakes

It will be interesting to see if EFL Advisory becomes EPL Advisory next season, now that his beloved Leeds United have finally made it back into the Premier League. We certainly hope not, because he has provided a solid dependable service to all fans of English football beyond elite top-flight betting. July was a perfect case in point, as 11 of his 22 carefully selected tips won at average odds of 2.66 to round off the season with a solid 21% monthly yield.

9th Henry The Navigator - 72 tips, 18.6% ROI

Profit: £268.09 to £20 average stake

It has taken Henry the Navigator a while to establish himself since he first appeared on Tipstrr back in March 2019, but persistence has finally converted into consistency and rewarded him with an appearance in these rankings. Discounting April (only one tip) and a minor dip in May, July represents his fourth monthly gain since February, with his 58% win rate, predominantly in the Over/Under market, enough to earn a rock solid 18% gain in July.

8th Throdriguez - 50 tips, 21.3% ROI

Profit: £212.87 to £20 average stake

Having only joined us in May of this year, Throdriguez has barely been here long enough to merit a place in our monthly list, but is included on the basis of a hugely promising start that has resulted in three straight months of profit upon profit upon profit. This fledgling service's betting model is built on goals, be it in the Over/Under market or Both Teams To Score, and indeed if he were measured solely in the former category, then he would be even higher up this list with an ROI of around 30%. Worth thinking about..

7th FooTipster - 288 tips, 23.1% ROI

Profit: £1330.72 to £20 average stake

Be prepared for plenty of betting activity with FooTipstrr, but a combination of patience and betting discipline, along with adherence to his structured staking plan should be enough to protect your betting pot. Profitable in four different football markets (1X2, Asian Handicap, Over/Under and Draw No Bet), this tipster will publish around 50 tips a week, but that workload was more than rewarded in July, with a profit of over £1,300 to anyone whose bankroll could stretch to £20 level stakes.

6th Latvian - 99 tips, 19.7% ROI ?

Profit: £390.30 to £20 average stakes

The first of two tipsters who appear in these rankings for the second consecutive month, Latvian has been on the Tipstrr platform for over a year now, and has established a reputation for himself as a solid consistent performer. The numbers don't lie, and July marked Latvian's twelfth profitable month out of fourteen to produce a solid overall ROI of over 10%. July brought in 55 winners from his 99 selections - a healthy 56% hit rate, which at an average price of 2.11 converted to a tidy yield just shy of 20%.

5th Long Shot Tips - 41 tips, 25.5% ROI

Profit: £209.00 to £20 average stake

Long Shot Tips occupies exactly the same fifth position as he did in June - how's that for consistency!. This tipster, as his name suggests, employs a high-odds betting model, and clearly, such a strategy requires extra patience and betting discipline, because of an inevitable reduced win rate against those increased prices that average 4.70. That balance between risk and reward brought in 11 tasty winners from his 41 selections in July, enough to secure a tidy 25% ROI, and the fact that he has achieved an overall 17% yield spanning eleven months on Tipstrr might just appeal to anyone who likes to add a little extra spice to their football betting.

4th Football Sato - 49 tips, 39.1% ROI

Profit: £383.00 to £20 average stake

It hasn't been all plain sailing for Football Sato, but July saw this football tipster make a welcome return to the promising form he showed during his early months on Tipstrr around the turn of the year. After limited activity and profits over the lockdown period, July saw Sato get into his stride, enjoying a 35% win rate from his 49 selections. When you consider that those tips all came from the high end of the 1X2 market, then he clearly has an eye for value, perfectly illustrated by him being one of very few tipsters prepared to stick his neck out on the 9.71 odds available on Arsenal to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final..

3rd Araya - 62 tips, 36.3% ROI

Profit: £449.74 to £20 average stake

We welcome Araya to these rankings, and he was perhaps unfortunate that we did not provide our monthly top tens through the lockdown, because July only marks the culmination of a superb run of consistent profit-making over the last few months. April (28% ROI) and May (49%) would certainly have merited a mention, and although June saw him only just above the break-even line, July has brought his fourth straight profitable month. A 40% win rate at average odds in excess of 3.30 will always convert to a healthy profit, and Araya's 36% ROI gives him a deserved spot in our top three.

2nd Better Bettor - 34 tips, 29.5% ROI

Profit: £200.28 to £20 average stake

Regular readers of our monthly countdown will know that Better Bettor is no stranger to our Best Tipster rankings, and his outstanding July comes at the end of eight consecutive months of upwardly trending growth. A win rate of 69% means that 24 of his 34 carefully selected tips brought a winning profit, more than enough to turn his average advised odds of 1.96 into a tidy 29% monthly yield. If you like a rock solid service averaging a couple of tips a day, and resulting in consistent no-nonsense growth, then Better Bettor appears to tick all the right boxes.

1st Football Edge - 39 tips, 62.2% ROI

Profit: £485.40 to £20 average stake

Our deserving monthly winner is Football Edge after a July that has certainly given him the football edge over the rest of the tipster field. Not that it's all been easy for this tipster, who first launched his service back in November, and the cogs in his betting model seemed a bit rusty in June following three full months of inactivity. But everything has clicked in July, with some great success in the high-odds end of the 1X2 betting market. A 26% win rate seems modest in football circles, but not when measured against average advised prices of 6.65, which, let's face it, is better than some leading horse racing tipsters achieve. Southampton to beat Manchester City (9.50) and Lecce to beat Lazio (10.00) are winners that catch the eye, but the fact that he only made 39 selections all month indicates a tipster who is prepared to wait for exactly the right value to show itself before committing his members to his recommendations.

So that's about it - another month of high-quality performances from many of our leading tipsters, who have adapted their services seamlessly to football's new normal. And anyone who had the the time and the betting funds to have followed all ten tipsters with £20 staked on every tip would have made over £4K profit in the space of a month.

Well done again to Football Edge for leading such a prestigious bunch of profitable high achievers, but well done also to the many talented tipsters who didn't quite make this month's cut, but all of whom are a valued part of the ever-increasing Tipstrr community.
