10th The Form Alchemist
- 76 tips, 49.1% ROI, £746 profit
Settling in at the back of the field is the manageable win-only service of The Form Alchemist, who has finished the year with a three-month flourish, culminating in by far his most profitable month since launching back in March.
His profile description names “pedigree patterns, hidden fitness indicators, and weather-altered track biases” as his secret ingredients in turning average advised odds of around 5/1 into achievable tangible returns.
9th Walters Wonders
- 77 tips, 50.3% ROI, £774 profit
It hasn’t been an easy baptism for Walters Wonders since he set up shop in April, but his mid-market race-winner service showed resilience in bouncing back to absorb a couple of drawdowns with December’s best-yet monthly profit spike.
Twenty winners from 77 selections added up to a 26% success rate that was all the more eye-catching for offering winning odds that ranged from a short-priced favourite right up to a 14/1 shot, indicating an eye for value from all over the market.
8th Rivera Racing
- 33 tips, 56.1% ROI, £370 profit
In eighth place, Rivera Racing has ended the year strongly by backing up October’s 46% ROI with December’s best-yet 56% yield, all thanks to a selective process that his profile page states that he never publishes tips just for the sake of it.
With seven winners from December’s 33 tips including one whopping 50/1 shot (albeit with a 50p Rule 4 deduction), RR appears to tick all the right boxes for anyone looking for a tipster who can juggle and eye for value with professional restraint.
7th Honest Jim
- 31 tips, 67.0% ROI, £415 profit
If resilience were the best measure of a tipster’s capabilities, then Honest Jim passes with flying colours after ending a difficult year by backing up hefty returns in October (35% ROI) and November (31%) with December's 67% gain, his best monthly yield since 2021.
That adds up to around 40% ROI over the last three months, all courtesy of a conservative tip output that averages 8-12 selections per week, ideal for anyone who prefers not to be inundated by a relentless stream of daily tips.
6th Little Horses
- 60 tips, 68.5% ROI, £821 profit
Don’t be fooled by the service name of Little Horses, who has been making big strides within the Tipstrr camp since first impressing as one of our Best New Tipsters in the back half of 2023.
Anyone following his 15-20 tips per week has been rewarded by December’s 15% win rate, all thanks to a bold high-tariff strategy aimed at identifying overpriced race-winner tips at average advised odds that exceeded 10/1.
5th TheBanker
- 66 tips, 75.3% ROI, £1,998 profit
Settling for a top-five position is TheBanker, who rounds off the year with his sixth appearance on 2025’s monthly leaderboards - and July’s 70% would surely have earned another spot if we had run our rankings for that month.
With average advised odds nudging double digits, The Banker advised no fewer than 12 winners from just 66 recommendations last month, including a 16/1 shot and five more at double-digit prices to finish the year in style.
4th Live For Racing
- 145 tips, 80.1% ROI, £2,321 profit
In fourth place, Live For Racing has not looked back since launching on Tipstrr in November last year, and has now strung together 13 profitable months out of 14, with September’s negligible drawdown the only minor blot on a very productive copybook.
Around 30-40 tips per week strike a healthy balance between ample service and manageability, while his all-time 16% win rate is all the more impressive for the fact that average advised odds exceed 8/1, all without an each-way safety net to catch the inevitable near misses.
3rd Gambling Garden
- 137 tips, 319.0% ROI, £8,741 profit
The 319% yield of Gambling Garden is probably the highest ROI ever seen on our monthly leaderboards, and would surely have earned December’s top spot, had those gains not been heavily reliant upon one mammoth lucky 31 and superyankee on Boxing Day.
Four of GG’s five selections won at tasty odds of 7/1, 6/1, 11/2 and 9/2, a timely reward for a high-tariff approach that deliberately targets multiple bets to boost winnings to the level achieved last month.
2nd Cinzano Kid
- 22 tips, 121.1% ROI, £533 profit
Settling for the runner-up spot, Cinzano Kid has celebrated the end of the year with his highest monthly return in over 2½ years on Tipstrr, with December clearing over £500 of clear profit.
A slight reduction in tip volume since the summer has proved that quality can always prevail over quantity, while also minimising the impact on time and bankroll, with December’s 18% win rate marrying up nicely with average advised odds that nudged 6/1.
1st The Dark Horse
- 106 tips, 83.8% ROI, £1,776 profit
December’s Best Tipster accolade is awarded to The Dark Horse, who launched his service in March and made a rapid impact to be crowned as Best New Tipster in June.
Now very much part of the Tipstrr furniture, The Dark Horse boasts 10 straight profitable months, with a lowest of a still tidy 14% ROI, while December’s best-yet 83% yield suggests there is plenty more mileage in this win-only service.
His 22 winners from December’s 106 selections equate to a 21% success rate that is all the more remarkable for the fact that the lowest-priced winner was 9/2, going all the way up to 12/1, indicating an expert eye for over-priced mid-market value.
The fact that he also operates without an each-way buffer is a sign of the confidence he has in his model’s ability to pick out winners, while December’s healthy supply of 20-30 on-the-nose selections per week should be enough to satisfy most betting appetites without putting too much strain on resources.
News just in is that January’s 11 tips so far have already produced another four winners, so well done again to The Dark Horse for breaking clear of December’s high-quality field.
As ever, we also want to acknowledge the efforts of all of the other services who might not have made the frame this time, but who nevertheless remain a valued part of the Tipstrr community.
