10th Strict Rule Jumps - 27 tips, 19.9% ROI

Profit: £107.35 to £20 average stakes

Since splitting his services to approach the two codes of flat racing and National Hunt separately, Strict Rule Jumps appears to have landed on a recipe for sustained success. His strict diet of no more than one tip per day covers both race-winner and each-way bets, with four winners (11/1, 9/1, 8/1 and 3/1) plus four each-way places combining to produce a 30% success rate and a triumph for quality over quantity.

9th SVB Tips - 170 tips, 21.8% ROI

Profit: £742.40 to £20 average stake

It's worth looking at the horse racing service of SVB Tips in isolation, as his success might be disguised by the overall results of his multi-sport service. April's 26% win rate from 65 horse racing tips produced a much more eye-catching 44% yield that would have seen him finish much higher on this list. Indeed, he has maintained that same level over the last three months, with a horse racing yield of over 40% since the turn of the year.

8th Shrewd Tips - 140 tips, 25.7% ROI

Profit: £719.66 to £20 average stakes

No stranger to these rankings, Shrewd Tips utilises a high-odds risk-and-reward strategy that seeks out race-winner tips that offer overpriced mid-market value. One of our more prolific services, April's 140 selections would require tight bankroll control, and at average advised odds of more than 8/1, his 22 winners represented a 16% win rate and a tasty 25% ROI.

7th BoomBoom - 55 tips, 26.4% ROI

Profit: £290.59 to £20 average stake

Six consecutive monthly gains have combined to provide followers of BoomBoom with a whopping 38% yield since October, converting to a monetary gain of over £3.5k to level £20 stakes. In that respect, April's 26% ROI could be said to be slightly below average, but that would be harsh on a service that regularly exceeds a 20% win rate, despite looking for high-end value (average 17/2 advised odds) on solely race winner tips.

6th Omaha Racing - 30 tips, 79.0% ROI

Profit: £474.18 to £20 average stake

In sixth place we have Omaha Racing, who has been rebuilding his service recently, and whose 79% ROI for April simply could not be ignored. He bolted out of the stalls with four straight winners between 12/1 and 6/1, and a further three successes at 11/1, 10/1 and 8/1 were backed up by eight frame places to provide an impressive 50% hit rate from his 30 eachway selections. If Omaha can convert this excellent month into one of sustained service and success, then he might well be one to watch.

5th WannaWin BM - 78 tips, 26.4% ROI

Profit: £420.00 to £20 average stake

Where would our monthly best tipster rankings be without an appearance from our ubiquitous TipstrrPro, WannaWin BM, whose 26% yield earned him his fifth straight top five finish. After finishing top of the pile in December (114% ROI), coming fourth in January (40%), runner-up in February (60%) and third in March (85%), it should come as little surprise to learn that this proven service has provided over £4,000 of clear profit to anyone investing £20 stakes in his selections over the last six months.

4th Boro - 47 tips, 30.7% ROI

Profit: £349.98 to £20 average stake

It's welcome return to our monthly list for Boro, whose service suffered a difficult transition following last year's lockdown period, but has been making steady positive moves over the last few months. His roughly 50-50 mix of 57 race-winner and each-way selections in April produced an impressive 19 winners at average odds of around 4/1, more than enough to combine for that 30% yield and his best monthly return of the year so far.

3rd Value Ratings - 76 tips, 37.1% ROI

Profit: £584.00 to £20 average stake

Value Ratings appeared in our Best New Tipster rankings a few months back, and has now graduated to make the podium in April's main horse racing rankings, thanks to his 37% ROI that was the result of 15 tasty winners from his 76 selections. Anyone looking for a simple busy service will not be disappointed, as he offers an optimum 2-3 on-the-nose race-winner tips per day, all at full-unit stakes, making betting easy and his results transparent.

2nd Underdog Racing Tips - 66 tips, 47.2% ROI

Profit: £1683.19 to £20 average stake

After topping this list in March with an astronomical 171% ROI, April was always going to be something of a coming down to earth for Underdog Racing Tips, but he didn't come down too far, and his 47% yield still represents a hugely profitable month for his growing number of grateful members. His high-odds each-way strategy continues to deliver, and while his 66 tips produced only five winners, they came home at whopping odds of 25/1, 22/1 (x2) and 20/1 (x2), while a further eleven each-way places topped up the bankroll nicely. (Stop Press: His first tip of May won at 28/1 on Saturday)

1st CD Systems Daily Bargain - 29 tips, 51.7% ROI

Profit: £300.00 to £20 average stake

We're always happy to see CD Systems Daily Bargain featuring in our monthly rankings, and this month he's done a bit more than just feature, by topping this esteemed list with room to spare. If you're looking for a tipster that offers quality above quantity, then you won't do worse than this simple service that provides one 'daily bargain' per day, always a single-unit stake on a race-winner tip, and always published well in advance on the day before the race to exploit early market value. He adds further value to his service by suggesting minimum best-value odds, recommending a next-best tip to follow if desired, and also providing a full indepth race preview that examines the field and outlines the reasoning behind his selection. All in all, a worthy winner and full value for his TipsterPro status on the site.

Between them, our top ten horse racing tipsters yielded over £5,500 in monthly gains to level £20 stakes. Indeed, just the top three alone would have earned over £2.5k for anyone lucky enough to have followed their combined 171 selections throughout the month of April.

So, well done again to CD Systems Daily Bargain for topping such a competitive top ten, and well done also to the many other services who didn''t feature this month, but who remain a valued part of our ever-expanding Tipstrr community.
