Meet September's best horse racing tipsters

As the summer's flat season gives way to the busy winter of National Hunt racing ahead, our list of September's Best Horse Racing Tipsters shines the spotlight on our best-performing services during this hectic part of the racing calendar.

With our listed tipsters' profits ranging from a palatable 23.4% yield in 10th place right up to a tasty 49.8% ROI for our winner, there is clearly a vast array of in-form services available for anyone looking to strengthen their current portfolio.

Just click on the links for more information about each tipster, and for details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: If you have previously enjoyed a trial with a particular tipster, then you are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

10th Cliff's Value Tips - 110 tips, 23.4% ROI

Profit: £514.00 to £20 average stakes

Bringing up the rear of this high quality field is no disgrace for Cliff's Value Tips, who featured among our best newcomers earlier in the summer and now is a regular contender for our main horse racing accolade. That's hardly surprising after eight straight profitable months, seven of them above 20% ROI (including September's 23% gain) to produce an overall 36% yield from over 480 race winner tips since February.

9th Value Ratings - 61 tips, 27.9% ROI

Profit: £340.50 to £20 average stake

Another tipster enjoying a phenomenal year so far is Value Ratings, for whom September's 27% ROI represented his seventh monthly gain in the first nine months of 2021, with all of those monthly yields reaching double digits. His simple single-stake strategy, aimed solely at picking race winners from the middle of the market, has been rewarded with a consistent hit rate hovering between 15 and 20% at average odds well above 6/1.

8th V-Nosferatu - 55 tips, 30.4% ROI

Profit: £333.80 to £20 average stakes

It was only last month that V-Nosferatu featured in our Best New Tipster top ten, so it hasn't taken him long to carry that impressive early form forward and graduate to our main monthly countdown. His eye for value at the top end of the betting market manifested itself in the form of 22 winners from his 50 on-the-nose tips, for a whopping 44% hit rate at average odds of around 5/2, more than enough to convert to his seventh straight monthly gain since March.

7th AG Tips - 99 tips, 34.8% ROI

Profit: £688.40 to £20 average stake

It's a simple case of 'welcome back' for the popular each-way service of AG Tips, who has bounced back from a couple of rare monthly dips in form to rekindle the kind of successful service that his members have been used to since he first appeared on Tipstrr more than two years ago. Nine single winners and 28 eachway places from September's 99 tips were nicely supplemented by his new strategy of combining some of his selections into successful combination bets.

6th Flying Horse Stars - 80 tips, 37.9% ROI

Profit: £607.00 to £20 average stake

It wasn't the best first half of the year for the high-odds each-way service of Flying Horse Stars, but he appears to have turned the corner with three straight monthly gains, peaking with September's 37% yield. Just three winners from 80 tips means patience and discipline is required, but a 100/1 winner and two more at 12/1 appeared to make the wait worthwhile, while a further 15 tasty each-way places helped keep those profits ticking over.

5th Boro - 69 tips, 51.5% ROI

Profit: £710.77 to £20 average stake

It's been a while since Boro graced our monthly rankings, but his best ever monthly win rate of 33% in September earned him his place back in our top five. A 2:1 split between race winner and each-way selections kept betting varied and that approach was rewarded with 18 successes from 43 race winner tips (average price 2/1), along with five each-way winners and seven places from more lucratively priced selections from lower down the market to showcase this tipster's versatility.

4th Zeus Turf - 166 tips, 40.7% ROI

Profit: £1351.80 to £20 average stake

A reduction in tip volume has paid dividends for the bustling service of Zeus Turf, whose more selective approach since May has coincided (and possibly caused) four straight monthly gains. Indeed, leaving aside his high-odds each-way selections, his 93 race winner tips produced an impressive 23 winners at average odds of almost 10/1, meaning those tips in isolation accrued an even more impressive monthly yield in excess of 60%.

3rd WannaWin BM - 72 tips, 41.2% ROI

Profit: £593.00 to £20 average stake

There are never many months between the appearances of WannaWin BM in our monthly rankings, and September saw him back to his accustomed high level of performance with another eye-catching 41% ROI. His nine winners from 72 tips were priced between 6/1 and 16/1, more than enough to leave members of this popular professionally run service 41% better off by the end of September - his ninth monthly yield of 20% or more in the last eleven months.

2nd 365 All Sports - 126 tips, 42.9% ROI

Profit: £1080.94 to £20 average stake

It's a second straight top ten appearance for 365 All Sports who has topped August's eighth place despite not quite matching that month's 46% ROI. That figure would be even better if we discounted his eleven football tips, as his 115 horse racing tips achieved a 16% win rate that was made all the more impressive by his focus on mid-market selections that averaged almost 9/1. The simple maths of that equation converted to a 49% yield from horse racing tips and a tidy net profit of more than £1,100 to level £20 stakes.

1st Underdog Racing Tips - 74 tips, 49.8% ROI

Profit: £736.50 to £20 average stake

There appears to be no stopping Underdog Racing Tips, who recently topped our list of best tipsters for the first six months of 2021, and he has extended that impressive form by coming 7th in July's monthly rankings (53% ROI), runner-up in August (60%), and now topping the list with, ironically, his lowest monthly yield since June. His 74 selections might have only landed four outright winners, but any bettor knows that picking out winners at odds of 28/1, 25/1 (twice) and 20/1 takes a trained eye for value, and when those winners are backed up back by a further 14 each-way places priced between 18/1 and 66/1, then it's easy to see why this tipster's membership is growing in line with his members' bankroll.

Our top ten horse racing tipsters yielded nearly £7K in monthly gains to level £20 stakes, and indeed just the top three alone would have earned over £2,400 for anyone who followed their combined 272 selections throughout September. We should also offer an honourable mention to the service of Formulator, who ended a challenging run of form with a whopping 92% yield in September, enough to have topped this list if other selection criteria had been met.

So, congratulations again to Underdog Racing Tips for once again heading such a high quality field, and well done also to the many other services who didn't make the frame this month, but who remain a valued part of our ever-expanding Tipstrr community.
