Meet August's best new tipsters

We continue our monthly countdowns with August's Best New Tipsters, which introduces a selection of the most promising newcomers to have made an immediate impact during their relatively brief time on the Tipstrr site. With horse racing, football, tennis and baseball all represented, there should be something to cover most betting preferences among our monthly contenders.

A quick click on any of the links below will reveal more information about each tipster, along with details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: If you have previously enjoyed a trial with a tipster, then you are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

8th Racing Machine - 45 tips, 11.5% ROI

Profit: £103.16 to £20 average stakes

Horse racing dominates our new tipsters this month, kicking off with Racing Machine, who has enjoyed steady upward progress since enduring a sticky start when the service launched in April. A strategy aimed at finding value at the very top of the market requires a heavy win rate to accommodate average advised odds of 5/4, and Racing Machine has met that target with room to spare, with August's impressive 24 winners from 45 selections suggesting a service capable of steady sustainable growth.

7th Tennis Distillery - 49 tips, 15.5% ROI

Profit: £152.10 to £20 average stake

Only one new tennis tipster has made our leaderboard this month, with Tennis Distillery carrying the flag after enjoying the best of his first six months of service. A manageable output of around 10-15 tips per week, mainly aimed at the ATP circuit, makes for an ideal volume for anyone looking for a service that is easy to follow, while a strike rate of around 50% means that your should never be much more than a couple of tips away from your next winner.

6th Welsh Premier League - 37 tips, 26.2% ROI

Profit: £193.84 to £20 average stakes

The fact that Welsh Premier League has only been active for three of his first five months of services owes much to the specific focus of his selections. Aimed solely at Welsh league football, WPL has carved out a niche for itself with a deliberately narrow field of expertise that allows a full exploration of each week's Welsh games for top value. Despite a relatively small sample size, his 70% win rate bodes well for a service that so far boasts an overall 14% ROI.

5th Charlie's Winners - 277 tips, 25.8% ROI

Profit: £1430.36 to £20 average stakes

Our second new horse racing tipster sees Charlie's Winners living up to his name by providing a plethora of winners since his first full month of service in April. A 60/40 split between race-winner and each-way tips offers a diverse exploration of over-priced low-odds value, and while August's prolific output might seem too much for some betting preferences, Charlie's 29% win rate, 25% ROI and over £1400 in monthly profit would appear to ease any bankroll concerns.

4th Follow The Money - 253 tips, 26.2% ROI

Profit: £1323.36 to £20 average stakes

It's been a promising baptism for the horse racing service of Follow The Money, whose 26% yield in August crowns five months of upward-trending profits since first setting up shop back in April. His strategy is aimed at scrutinising market movement the evening before racing and then recommending horses with shortening prices, hence the service name. While advising the use of the BSP exchange, FTM's stats also hold up well with bookmakers, as an overall 13% ROI and over £2K in profit illustrates.

3rd BrightSkyRacing - 124 tips, 38.9% ROI

Profit: £964.00 to £20 average stakes

The first of August's podium positions is occupied by BrightSkyRacing, whose sky-high achievements should have brightened the mood of anyone following their busy race-winner service over recent weeks. A slight drawdown in June was easily absorbed by four months of double-digit growth either side, with August's impressive 25% win rate helping to boost BSR's overall ROI to a tasty 31% from over 700 selections, converting to an even tastier £4.5K to level £20 stakes.

2nd Bethovenz - 81 tips, 39.8% ROI

Profit: £644.20 to £20 average stakes

Gatecrashing our top-five party of horse racing tipsters, August's runner-up spot goes to Bethovenz, who has soon emerged as a football service with long-term potential. An expert eye for outsider value in the 1X2 Match-winner market has been rewarded with four months of overall profit, culminating in August's 47% win rate that is all the more impressive when measured against average advised odds of around 2/1. A simple full-unit staking plan and a single-market strategy, combined with a healthy output of 10-20 tips per week looks tailor-made for anyone looking for a manageable service with a lucrative eye for value.

1st BigOddsValue - 92 tips, 71.5% ROI

Profit: £1315.02 to £20 average stakes

And so finally, we're happy to introduce our Best New Tipster in the shape of BigOddsValue, whose high-end horse racing strategy has made an immediate impact within the Tipstrr community. Just six winners from August's 92 selections appears scant reward at first glance, but that is to overlook BOV's high-tariff approach that advised those winners at mouthwatering odds of 66/1, 50/1, 33/1, 16/1 (twice) and 14/1. Factor in a further 11 each-way places priced between 16/1 and 40/1 and that success rate climbs to a much more respectable 18% and helps explain that hefty 71% monthly yield. If your patience and your bankroll can absorb the inevitable lulls between those high-odds successes, then you might just enjoy an approach that has yielded a 30% ROI and over £3K in profit to level £20 stakes over the last three months.

So that rounds off August's list of Tipstrr’s most promising newcomers, and as always, we must emphasise that such positive early results do not necessarily guarantee long-term success. However, we are certainly optimistic that BigOddsValue and the other new tipsters displayed above can build on their encouraging starts as they take their services through the remainder of 2022.
