Meet December's best new tipsters

With fresh new services appearing on the Tipstrr platform on a daily basis, we’re happy to introduce some that have been showing early promise in our summary of December’s Best New Tipsters.

Just click on any of the links below to reveal more information about each tipster, along with details of any introductory offers that are currently available.

8th The Lot Horse racing

  • 124 tips, 17.5% ROI, £432 profit

Horse racing tipsters dominate this shortlist, kicking off with The Lot, whose free each-way service has made a significant blip of the Tipstrr radar since first gracing the site in July last year.

Six straight profitable months later and it’s plain to see that this promising newcomer knows his way around the each-way market, and beyond his 14% win rate, one in three of his selections have been making the frame, with average odds nudging 9/1.

7th The Long Shot Horse racing

  • 55 tips, 18.4% ROI, £202 profit

In seventh place, The Long Shot hasn’t taken long to make an impact, with just three months of service already showing enough to suggest this short-term success has longer-term potential.

December’s nine winners from 55 selections at average odds of 9/1 equates to a 14% win rate that is made all the more impressive for being win-only bets without the comfort of an each-way safety net.

6th 5 A Day Horse Racing Horse racing

  • 52 tips, 19.0% ROI, £198 profit

While the each-way racing service of 5 A Day Horse Racing does not quite live up to its name’s premise of providing five tips a day, there have been more than enough selections to keep most betting appetites satisfied.

Five months of upward-trending growth hint at a stellar year ahead, and he was quick to hit the ground running in 2025 when landing a 20/1 winner (plus two places at 28/1 and 16/1) on New Year’s Day.

5th Door 3 Horse racing

  • 85 tips, 33.1% ROI, £562 profit

Continuing our glut of horse racing tipsters, Door 3 is the longest-serving of our newcomers, and he has saved the best until last by finishing the year with a flourish, thanks to December’s 33% yield.

An overall 15% win rate all but doubles to a 29% each-way place rate, and the service has already celebrated the New Year with a whopping 33/1 winner that suggests that its profit line is set to maintain its current upward trajectory.

4th Dreams Come True Football

  • 43 tips, 33.1% ROI, £285 profit

Breaking this leaderboard’s horse racing domination, Dreams Come True carries the flag for our football contingent, and has certainly caught the eye with its happy knack of identifying underdog value in the 1X2 Match-winner market.

Average advised odds of more than 5/2 make December’s 15 winners from 43 tips (37% win rate) all the more remarkable, while a selective output of 8-10 selections per week should appeal to those with more moderate betting tastes.

3rd Jake’s Tips Horse racing

  • 20 tips, 33.4% ROI, £133 profit

Following that brief interruption, horse racing newcomers return to dominate our podium positions, with Jake’s Tips picking up the bronze after bouncing back to form with December’s best-yet 33% return.

A conservative tip volume suggests the emphasis is on quality above quantity, while a rough 50/50 split between race-winner and each-way bets is part of a strategy designed to pick out value from all areas of the betting market.

2nd ZebraTips Horse racing

  • 20 tips, 36.3% ROI, £145 profit

Our runner-up spot is occupied by ZebraTips, who has returned to the kind of form that saw this varied service hit the ground running with a couple of stellar months in September (26% ROI) and October (37%).

A slight dip in November has quickly been absorbed by December’s success, thanks to a willingness to extract value from both ends of the betting market, with last month’s five winners from 20 tips priced from a 6/4 favourite right up to a juicy 20/1 outsider.

1st PepeTips Multi-sport, mainly football

  • 33 Tips, 36.9% ROI, £243 profit

Last but far from least, the accolade of December’s Best New Tipster goes to PepeTips, who has gatecrashed the horse-racing pundits’ party with a multi-sport service that leans predominantly towards football.

Exploring a wide variety of markets, last month’s 37% ROI saw a return to the glories that saw him kick off his tenure on Tipstrr with three straight double-digit yields in late summer of last year.

Always prepared to venture well above the comfort of the market's money-lines, Pepe nevertheless managed to sustain a healthy 48% win rate at odds north of 6/4, more than enough to put a tidy £240 in the kitty from just 33 judiciously selected tips.

That rounds off December's Best New Tipster leaderboard, and as ever we must point out that the promising starts enjoyed by these newcomers does not necessarily guarantee longer-term success.

However, we have little doubt that PepeTips and the other new services listed above can build on their promising early results and make their way onto our main leaderboards as we enter 2025.

*Please note: Any discount offer is for the first month of new memberships only, and cannot be claimed twice, nor is it available for existing members.

  • All profits are calculated to level £20 stakes
