Meet May's best new tipsters

We continue our monthly countdowns by presenting May's Best New Tipsters, which gives us the chance to introduce a few of our fresh faces, all of whom have enjoyed an encouraging start to their time on the Tipstrr site.

A quick click on any of the links below will reveal more information about each tipster, along with details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: If you have previously enjoyed a trial with a tipster, then you are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

10th Daily+ - 25 tips, 18.8% ROI

Profit: £93.80 to £20 average stakes

Bringing up the rear, we kick off with the first of our football tipsters, Daily+, who proves the old adage that quality beats quantity with a selective tip output that has been rewarded with an overall win rate of just about 2-in-3. That success rate converts to an overall 13% yield over the last few months, and the fact that he operates solely in the goals-related Over/Under market offers some welcome diversity from the majority of football services.

9th ZahoriPicks - 23 tips, 21.2% ROI

Profit: £97.40 to £20 average stakes

Four straight months of profitable growth is a great way to start a tipster service and suggest that ZahoriPicks knows his way around his two preferred sports of football and tennis. A low tip volume makes this varied service an easy one to follow for anyone whose time is at a premium, while a sustained 50% win rate at odds in excess of 5/4 ensures a profit line that should be to everyone's tastes.

8th Dutch and Win - 145 tips, 21.4% ROI

Profit: £620.25 to £20 average stakes

The betting strategy of Dutch and Win is unsurprisingly built on the Dutching strategy - that is, backing more than one horse in one race. Doubling up on eachway bets might seem like backing against yourself, but in the right hands it can provide a useful safety net capable of mitigating losses and enhancing winnings. May's 21% ROI boosted this tipster's overall yield to 10% from almost 1000 tips, with a betting pot that is now more than £4K to the good.

7th Klinsmann - 32 tips, 21.5% ROI

Profit: £137.80 to £20 average stakes

In seventh place, Klinsmann is the second of our three new football tipsters on parade in this countdown, thanks to May's tidy 66% win rate at average even-money odds. Those match-winner tips from competitions all over the world indicate a global knowledge of the game and an expert eye for value in the 1X2 market. A selective supply of tips that are published early morning, often a day or more in advance, makes for a service that is easy to follow.

6th Whetherbet Horses - 102 tips, 25.2% ROI

Profit: £513.85 to £20 average stakes

The second of our six new horse racing tipsters is Whetherbet Horses, who offers a simple race-winner service that provides an easily manageable tip volume, all published well before noon on the day of racing. A shift of focus towards the top of the betting market has involved an increase in output, but this has been rewarded by a 25% win rate, which saw May yield a 25% ROI and over £500 in winnings to level £20 stakes.

5th Lulas BTTS - 490 tips, 23.8% ROI

Profit: £2333.80 to £20 average stakes

May's best performing new football tipster was Lulas BTTS, whose strategy is built around a statistical model based solely on the probability of football games producing at least one clean sheet. This methodology has met with unrelenting success since commencing in February, with May completing three 20%+ monthly yields. Lulas' prolific tip output might not be to everyone's tastes, but when the profit line keeps climbing like that, bankroll almost seems to manage itself.

4th Cavalier Noir - 164 tips, 24.0% ROI

Profit: £786.50 to £20 average stakes

One horse racing tipster to make a very bright blip on the Tipstrr radar recently has been Cavalier Noir, who has bolted out of the stalls with four straight profitable months since joining us in February. The average odds of his 164 tips in May was just over 10/1, so it took a discerning eye for value to land 16 winners priced between 33/1 and 6/1, along with no less than 45 each way places for an overall 37% success rate.

3rd TipsterTaylor2 - 61 tips, 32.2% ROI

Profit: £392.93 to £20 average stake

No less impressive has been the fledgling horse racing service of TipsterTaylor2, who has been equally consistent to produce an 18% ROI and £1000 in profit over the last three months. Built primarily around an eachway betting strategy, two hefty winners at 33/1 and 25/1 got the profit ball rolling, nicely consolidated by a further three winners, while 15 each way places kept the betting pot boiling.

2nd DHT Tips - 157 tips, 35.8% ROI

Profit: £1223.84 to £20 average stakes

Our runner-up spot goes to DHT Tips, whose shift towards the eachway betting market has been rewarded with the most lucrative of his five first months of service. May's 15% win rate across 157 tips reflects a consistent winning ratio throughout that 5-month period, with 23 winners including 13 that were 8/1 or higher, not to mention the 39 each way places, further illustrating this tipster's expertise for extracting overpriced betting value.

1st eHorses - 80 tips, 53.8% ROI

Profit: £860.00 to £20 average stakes

May's Best New Tipster accolade goes to eHorses, who overcame an early drawdown month in February to produce three straight months of impressive growth. March (10% ROI) and April (33%) showed that this high-odds specialist was heading in the right direction, and that was confirmed by May's whopping 53% yield. His regular monthly win rate stays consistently around the 10% mark, and while that might seem meagre at first glance, the fact that his advised odds average out between 12/1 and 14/1 puts that win rate into perspective. Such a high-tariff strategy requires patience and discipline to absorb the inevitable gaps between winners, but when those winners come in at 22/1, 20/1, 16/1 (twice), 12/1, 11/1 and 10/1 (twice), as they did last month, then that patience and discipline would appear to be worthwhile.

So that draws a line under May's countdown of Tipstrr’s best newcomers, and as always, we must draw /your attention to the fact that early promise does not necessarily lead to long-term success. However, we are certainly optimistic that eHorses and the other new tipsters listed above can build on their encouraging starts as they take their services through the rest of 2022.
