Meet October's best new tipsters

We continue our monthly rankings with October's Best New Tipsters, which presents you with a selection of our best-performing new services, all of which have made a promising start during their first few months on the platform.

Horse racing and football dominate with a wide array of betting strategies, but October's winner comes refreshingly from a sport that hasn't featured before, and we hope some of those on displayhave built a platform strong enough to support longer-term success throughout the rest of the year./

Just click on any of the links below to reveal more information about each tipster, and for details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: If you have previously enjoyed a trial with a tipster, then you are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

10th Trying To Find Value - 52 tips, 21.5% ROI

Profit: £223.46 to £20 average stakes

In tenth spot, we bolt out of the stalls with the optimistically named Trying To Find Value, who overcame an inauspicious first few weeks to register successive profitable months in September (42% ROI) and then again in October (21%). Splitting his selections between on-the-nose and each-way selections, most of his profits were accrued from the latter so it might be worth taking that into account when following his tips.

9th Correct Scores Only - 99 tips, 40.6% ROI

Profit: £804.22 to £20 average stakes

We always think it's brave football tipster who focuses solely on correct score tips, and even more so when those tips are then combined into multiple bets. The aptly-named Correct Scores Only has been walking that precarious betting tightrope since launching his service back in June, and has so far managed to turn that volatile strategy into a profitable enterprise, thanks largely to landing three legs of a correct score yankee at odds of 9/1, 6/1 and 11/2.

8th Jth Racing Tips - 82 tips, 25.1% ROI

Profit: £411.36 to £20 average stakes

It has been a case of ever increasing gains for Jth Racing Tips, whose first three months of service have accrued a solid 16% gain, thanks in no small way to October's 25% yield. His nine winners last month included a favourite priced as low as 2/1, right up to whopping successes at 28/1 and 22/1, while numerous additional eachway places suggest a service that knows its way around the entire betting market.

7th Under/0ver - 20 tips, 30.1% ROI

Profit: £120.45 to £20 average stakes

Proving that quantity is no match for quality, the selective service of 0ver/Under has made sure that his limited supply of goals-related tips are well worth waiting for. His first 55 selections, spread over three months, have enjoyed a mammoth 70% win rate, and with average prices just shy of even money, that mathematical equation has resulted in an overall 44% return on investment, equating to over £400 in clear profit to level £20 stakes.

6th OutsiderSpeedPicks - 88 tips, 42.5% ROI

Profit: £747.73 to £20 average stakes

Back to horse racing now and an increase in tip volume coincided nicely with an uptick in profits for OutsiderSpeedPicks, who matched a dozen tasty winners with a dozen places from his 88 eachway selections. That impressive 42% yield was helped in no small way by three winners priced 14/1, 14/1 and 9/1 in the space of a couple hours on October 28th, not to mention two 12/1 shots on the last day of the month. When you're hot, you're hot!

5th Value Maximiser - 41tips, 60.5% ROI

Profit: £496.39 to £20 average stakes

We're into our top five now, and although Value Maximiser has experienced mixed fortunes through his opening few months on Tipster, October's eyecatching 60% ROI suggests that better times might be just around the corner for this fledgling football service. Never afraid to venture well away from the even money line, this tipster certainly lived up to his name on the last Saturday of the month, extracting maximum value by recommending Crystal Palace to win at Manchester City at astronomical odds of 20/1.

4th 1 Bet A Day Horse Racing Advisory Service - 31 tips, 63.2% ROI

Profit: £392.00 to £20 average stakes

If you're looking for a horse racing tipster who offers a selective limited service that respects both your time and your betting funds, then the self-explanatory service of 1 Bet A Day Horse Racing Advisory Service might just suit your tastes. Picking just one horse a day is not as easy as it sounds, but this tipster has managed to average a winner every five tips over the last three months for an impressive overall 74% yield over that period, converting to well over £1,000 in clear profit.

3rd Speculate To Accumulator - 36 tips, 71.5% ROI

Profit: £514.57 to £20 average stakes

Betting on heavy odds-on favourites can appear unappealing, but combining those selections into accumulators can be a productive way to turn those prohibitive odds into much more lucrative returns. The football service of Speculate to Accumulator is built on that simple premise, and has been an effective earner through his first four months of service, and in October he landed no less than eight of his 36 5-fold accumulators for a 22% success rate and a hefty 71% yield. Definitely one to pencil in if your like an occasional acca.

2nd SmallFieldPunting - 52 tips, 100.4% ROI

Profit: £1043.90 to £20 average stake

The horse racing service of SmallFieldPunting can count himself unlucky to finish runner-up after more than doubling his stake money during October for an impressive 100.4% yield (and that was no fluke after achieving the same feat in August). His simple but effective betting strategy extracts the best value outsiders from small fields, and while the winners might seem few and far between, a 14% win rate at average odds of more than 11/1 has been sufficient to produce four straight profitable months and an overall 65% ROI from over 160 selections.

1st PGA Profit - 23 tips, 102.4% ROI

Profit: £471.18 to £20 average stake

And so to October's Best New Tipster, and we're delighted to introduce our first golf tipster to the podium in the shape of PGA Profit, whose niche service has found a lucrative source of actual and potential profit. Golf tournaments attract a huge amount of entrants, which means that initial betting markets can't help but offer seemingly generous each-way odds for even the most proven and fancied golfers. PGA Profit has combined his knowledge of the game and of its betting markets to great effect, and while the limited number of golf tournaments means he can never be overly prolific with his tips, he has managed to accrue relatively huge monthly gains in August (60% ROI), September (195% ROI), and now October (102% ROI). All that adds up to over £1,700 in winnings to level £20 stakes from just 66 selections since the beginning of August, which means we must offer only one word of caution to the bookies - FORE!!

That's it for another month of promising new faces, and as always, we must point out that such early promise does not guarantee long-term success. However, we are certainly hopeful that PGA Profit and the other listed newcomers can build on their encouraging starts as they progress through the rest of 2021.
