Best Tipsters in Other Sports 2021 - half-yearly report

Published

Introducing our best performing tipsters in other sports during the first half of 2021

Rounding off our half-year reports of best-performing tipsters through the first six months of 2021, we turn our eye towards those services that focus their attention on sports betting outside the two mainstream markets of horse racing and football.

Just click on the links for more information about each tipster, and for details of any trial deals that are currently on offer.

Please note: Tipstrr users who have previously enjoyed a trial with a tipster are no longer eligible for any trial period offered by the same service.

10th Sports Insider - 470 tips, 9.6% ROI

Profit: £901.35 to £20 average stake

We kick off in tenth place with Sports Insider who is just about to complete three full years on the Tipstrr site. This popular multi-sport service will be no stranger to many of our longer-serving members who have seen him feature in our monthly Best Tipster rankings on many occasions, including each of the first three months of this year. While not reaching those heights since, July sees him back on track as he boasts a 76% win rate and a 46% ROI so far this month.

9th Hoops Bet - 1000 tips, 9.8% ROI

Profit: £1957.48 to £20 average stake

As you might expect from the name, Hoops Bet is a basketball specialist, so his service has understandably quietened down recently in line with the conclusion of the basketball season. However, when the hardcourt season was in full flow, this tipster was equally busy, providing an average of 200+ tips per month between January and April, and matching that quantity with a success rate above 50% at average odds well clear of even money.

8th TennisBeast - 575 tips, 9.9% ROI

Profit: £1139.44 to £20 average stake

No less than six tennis services feature in this top ten, which is a testament to both the success of our tennis tipsters and to the growing popularity of this sports betting market. First to appear is TennisBeast, whose 2:1 split between MatchWinner tips and selections in the Asian Handicap Games market offers a varied approach to his betting routine. Five out of six profitable months in the first half of 2021 have kept that overall ROI hovering nicely around the 10% mark.

7th Tennis Madness - 888 tips, 10.0% ROI

Profit: £1780.53 to £20 average stake

Same sport, different approach, same successful outcome. That's what Tennis Madness has brought to the table after ending each of the first six months of 2021 with a larger bankroll than he began them. he Has done so with a pattern of long-term achievable growth, combining a steady 47% win rate with average odds around 6/4, mainly in the Match Winner market, to build a betting model that looks like it is designed to last with a rock solid 10% yield over the first half of the year.

6th Daily NHL Picks - 148 tips, 10.1% ROI

Profit: £300.14 to £20 average stake

A change of direction sees Daily NHL Picks as our sole representative of ice hockey among our top ten, and indeed this is one of our oldest services after originally launching on Tipstrr way back in October 2016. While not the most prolific of services in terms of tip volume. his carefully-researched selections always seem worth waiting for and continue to bring in consistent returns, with the first six months of 2021 producing arguably the most profitable period of almost five years with us.

5th Billgkr Tips - 278 tips, 11.0% ROI

Profit: £614.25 to £20 average stake

We start our top five with the basketball/football service of Billgkr Tips, who is also a long-term Tipstrr stalwart, having first graced the platform in January 2017. Another tipster to rely on quality above quantity, his selective betting strategy produced double-digit yields in March, April, May and June to send him surging into our top five with an overall half-yearly ROI of 11%. If you like a steady but varied tip output, then Billgkr's diverse approach should tick a few boxes for you.

4th WadsterTips - 370 tips, 12.4% ROI

Profit: £1302.09 to £20 average stake

Our top four is made up entirely of tennis tipsters, kicking off with Wadster Tips, who has gone from strength to strength since rebooting his popular service last September following an 18-month hiatus. Now he appears to be right back to the form that made him one of Tipstrr's most followed services, highlighting an excellent first half of the year by coming third in May's Best Tipster rankings with 33% ROI, before exceeding that to top June's rankings with a tasty 45% monthly yield.

3rd TheGoat - 209 tips, 12.8% ROI

Profit: £536.05 to £20 average stake

Another tipster who should require little introduction is The Goat, who has enjoyed nearly three years' experience on the Tipstrr site and who really hit the ground running this year, recording a monthly ROI of 20% to finish 4th in January's Best Tipster rankings, and then topping the same list for February after doubling that monthly yield to a whopping 40%. That level of success is not easy to maintain, of course, but further steady gains have all combined to accrue a more than decent 12.8% overall yield so far in 2021.

2nd DaleTipster - 472 tips, 13.3% ROI

Profit: £1251.01 to £20 average stake

It does not seem so very long ago that DaleTipster first featured in our Best New Tipster rankings, but he has long left that accolade behind him to become an established success story within the Tipstrr community. His four profitable months out of the first six of 2021 all topped 20% ROI, and more than outweighed the slight dips in form to produce an overall 13% yield for the year to date. That, of course, is why we attach more importance to the notion of long-term growth than we do to short-term spikes. Just a quick glance at DaleTipster's stats page illustrates that his profit line is trending ever upwards and that he has a betting model built to last.

1st Tennis 1 - 337 tips, 17.5% ROI

Profit: £1182.30 to £20 average stake

All of which brings up to 2021's best performing tipster in other sports (so far), and we're more than happy to welcome Tennis 1 onto the gold medal podium. Discounting January, when he published just one tip ahead of the new tennis season, each of his five active months has produced a tidy profit, peaking in May (33% ROI) and June (23% ROI), each of which earned him a top five spot in our monthly Best Tipster awards. His expertise in Correct Score betting has been particularly lucrative, with that market alone earning more than 30% yield from well over 150 tips at average advised odds of around 9/2. The good news for his current members is that Tennis 1 is continuing to serve aces through July, with his 56 selections producing 22 winners and a 31% ROI so far this month.

We hope there's enough quality tipsters in the above list to pique your interest in alternative sports betting, and we're confident that here at Tipstrr we offer enough varied services to suit most sporting tastes.

Well done again to Tennis 1 for an impressive performance through the first half of the year, and we hope to see him and others featuring again in our Best Tipster rankings throughout the remainder of 2021.
