September's best tipsters in other sports

Published

We thought it was high time we moved away from the dominant betting sports of football and horse racing to celebrate some of tipsters who focus on less mainstream markets

In a betting world dominated by horse racing and football, it's sometimes difficult for so-called minority sports to get a look-in.

But not for us here at Tipster, because, back by popular demand, we are re-introducing our monthly rankings for tipsters who provide valuable services in sports outside of those mainstream markets, so we're happy to put a few of our more niche tipster services back under the spotlight for you.

Just click on the links for more information about each tipster, and for details of any trial deals that are currently on offer...

5th Tennis Beast - 90 tips, 13.3% ROI

Profit: £238.85 to £20 average stake

Tennis Beast launched his tipster service with us back in January, and hit the ground running with three stellar months of sustained profits until the coronavirus lockdown upset the rhythm of sports and betting around the world. A stuttering return to action in July and August is now starting to bear fruit as more global tennis provides improved betting opportunities.  A subsequent increase in output from Tennis Beast has resulted in more consistent results, as his 13% yield from 90 tips in September have proven, with a 48% win rate at average odds of 2.43.

4th Wadster Tips - 24 tips, 17.0% ROI

Profit: £81.48 to £20 average stake

We've been a bit cheeky including Wadster Tips in this shortlist, as this long-serving tennis tipster has only just resumed business after an 18-month hiatus. However, his was always a popular service, and the fact that he managed to jump straight in with a 17% yield in September, albeit from just 24 selections, suggests he is ready to carry on where he left off in early 2019. Always prepared to explore all tennis betting markets, it is in the Correct Score and Over/Under markets that Wadster shines the brightest.

3rd Tennis Madness - 146 tips, 15.7% ROI

Profit: £459.68 to £20 average stake

The third of our tennis tipsters, Tennis Madness, took a while to rediscover his mojo following a four-month lay-off while the tennis took a covid-induced breather. But as major tennis tournaments rebooted around the world and players regained their form, so Tennis Madness was able to implement his betting strategies to greater effect. His 50% win rate from 146 tips at average odds of 2.64 was more than enough to secure a tidy 15.7% ROI, and with October already showing similar returns, it looks like Tennis Madness is well set for the remainder of the season.

2nd Fade The Favorites - 48 tips, 16.6% ROI

Profit: £159.04 to £20 average stake

If you like a bit of sporting variety in your betting, then don't overlook the potential of Fade The Favorites, who has enjoyed a promising first full year on the Tipstrr platform. Concentrating mainly on the American markets surrounding the NFL, NBA and MLB, Fade The Favorites also spices things up by covering the English Premier league to provide a full rounded package of multi-sport betting. With virtually no sports to cover between April and August, it was not until September that FTF was able to really implement his betting model effectively, but 24 winners from 48 tips at average odds of 3.13 produced a solid 16% yield.

1st BasketValue - 27 tips, 34.9% ROI

Profit: £188.47 to £20 average stake

It's been quite a year so far for BasketValue, whose tipster service has been heavily hampered by the postponed and curtailed basketball seasons around the world, but who has nevertheless managed to produce a profit in eight of the last ten months. A simple straightforward strategy that aims exclusively at the match winner market, BasketValue was able to publish almost as many tips in September as he had in all of the previous four months combined, and that increased output was rewarded with a more-than-useful 35% ROI. Just further proof that if you want to make money from sports betting, different sports tipsters can really add an extra winning dimension to your portfolio.

Well, that's it for this month. We're confident that whatever your sporting interests or your betting preferences, there should be a tipster to suit your needs somewhere on the Tipstrr platform.

Well done again to BasketValue for topping this list, and we hope to see him and others featuring again in our Best Tipster rankings throughout the coming months.
