2020 best tipsters in other sports

Published

Football and horse racing have had their turn, and now it's time to showcase a few of our tipsters who have shone in other sports during 2020

We've already showcased the best of 2020's horse racing and football services for you, but now it's the turn of those tipsters who ply their trade outside those two mainstream betting markets.

Whether it's tennis, basketball, ice hockey or a mixture of different sports, these talented tipsters have proved throughout the course of the year that there is long-term profit to be made from these niche betting markets.

We'll start you off with a selection of those who just missed out on the medal positions, before counting down the top three in a separate article

MrJordan - 365 tips, 9.9% ROI

Profit: £719.33 to £20 average stake

We'll get things rolling with basketball tipster, MrJordan, who has been strutting his stuff on the hardcourt betting markets since July 2019, earning a profit in twelve of his first fourteen months on the site. He looked on course for a truly outstanding year after kicking off with six consecutive monthly gains, peaking with ROI's of 51%, 41% and 61% in May, June and August respectively, and although he was unable to maintain those kind of numbers, those bumper months combined to produce a healthy annual yield nudging 10%.

Amigobet - 575 tips, 8.4% ROI

Profit: £964.05 to £20 average stake

Amigobet is the first of our multi-sport tipsters to feature, and although his main preference is football, it is in baskeball that he enjoyed most success over the last year. When you factor in further successes in tennis, ice hockey, handball and rugby, then it's easy to see the attraction of this diverse service. He did not finish the year as strongly as he began it, but by then a tasty profit was already as good as locked in, to the tune of an 8.4% yield that converted to almost £1000 in annual winnings.

TennisBeast - 392 tips, 9.1% ROI

Profit: £712.78 to £20 average stake

You won't win a prize for guessing where Tennisbeast plies his trade, but you'd certainly have won plenty if you had followed his constant stream of successful tennis selections throughout 2020. Four profitable months either side of the two-month lockdown got the year off to a flyer, and he finished in similar form with a year-best 41% ROI in December. With an average of 1-2 selections per day, invariably recommending full-unit bets solely in the Match Winner market, you're assured of a manageable tip volume with transparent easily measurable results.

BasketValue - 512 tips, 9.8% ROI

Profit: £999.66 to £20 average stake

The second of our dedicated basketball tipsters, BasketValue certainly lived up to his name during 2020. A promising start to the year was put on hold by the dearth of tennis being played through the summer lockdown (only 31 tips published between April and August), but when the season rebooted, then so did BasketValue's success, as he concluded the year with another four straight months of upwardly trending growth. The new year has begun in a similar vein, and with the tennis circuit about to get into full swing again, there could hardly be a better time to consider adding a tennis tipster to your portfolio.

SVB Tips - 2298 tips, 14.1% ROI

Profit: £6476.38 to £20 average stake

The fact that in 2019 SVB Tips featured in both our annual Best Tipster rankings for both horse racing and football should tell you all you need to know about this outstanding multisport service. He might easily have slotted into the horse racing category again in 2020 with his 25% yield in that sport, but on the strength of his all-round service that also includes sports as diverse as tennis, darts, rugby and esports, he also fits nicely into this group. His total of 2000+ selections over the year made him one of our most prolific tipsters, but anyone who maintained their patience and betting discipline would have cleared well over £6,000 to level £20 stakes

itennis - 447 tips, 9.7% ROI

Profit: £867.81 to £20 average stake

Sometimes a tipster does not have to peak in any particular month to make long-term gains, but rather can steadily accrue profit consistently and remain just under the radar. For example, itennisdid not experience a single drawdown month in 2020, meaning that anyone following his service would have ended every month better off then they started it. That success was built on a tennis betting model that recommended mainly odds-on bets.in the Match Winner and Asian handicap markets, but with such an eye for value that he was able to achieve a 62% win rate that converted those prices into a rock solid 9.7% ROI, or nearly £900 to level £20 stakes

With those kinds of results maintained over the course of an entire year, we're confident that Tipstrr provides services to suit all sporting interests and betting preferences.

We'll be looking at the top three in a separate article, but we hope that these and others go on to enjoy similar success in 2021.
