We’re alway happy to showcase some of the fresher faces on the Tipstrr platform, and with profits ranging from 9% ROI in 10th spot to a winning monthly yield of over 34%, February has proved to be another bumper month in our Best Newcomer rankings.

We’re also happy to see a variety of different sports involved, and while horse racing unsurprisingly dominates the top few places, it’s great to see football, tennis, basketball and other US sports all represented by our successful tipsters.

Anyway, without further ado, let’s check out the top 10 performing newcomers from the month of February and their special offers available on Tipstrr…

10th – Wager Talk USA - 66 tips, 9.0% ROI

Profit: £118.36 to £20 average stake

Let’s get things rolling with Wager Talk USA, and no prizes for guessing this multi-sport tipster’s preferred betting markets. With the NFL season all done and dusted, Wager Talk is now showing his expertise in the NBA and NHL, and a 55% win rate across 66 tips at average odds just shy of even money has been enough to earn a positive yield for month, albeit not matching the 30% ROI he enjoyed in January.

9th – Tennis_Tipster - 26 tips, 10.1% ROI

Profit: £52.24 to £20 average stake

Don’t be fooled by the name of Tennis_Tipster, because despite appearances, the bulk of his tips have been on basketball, and for a tennis tipster he certainly seems to know his way around the hardwood court. Three of his four completed months on the site have produced double-digit profits, thanks to a structured staking plan that has protected his bankroll to exceed 10% ROI despite a win rate and average odds that run on tight margins.

8th – JP Horses - 61 tips, 14.0% ROI

Profit: £170.41 to £20 average stakes

JP Horses kicked off his service with a debut month yield of 34% ROI that might have been fobbed off as a flash in the pan or a honeymoon period, and while the latter might still apply, two further months of double-digit yields suggests this tipster might be one to follow. A tasty 21/1 treble helped get February off to a flyer, while his eight single winners at odds ranging from 3/1 to 18/1 display a willingness to explore the entire betting market for best value. Add seven each-way places into the mix to keep the bankroll ticking over and you’re left with a well-rounded horse racing tipster.

7th – Money On My Mind: Draw Team - 76 tips, 15.0% ROI

Profit: £228.00 to £20 average stakes

Money On My Mind: Draw Team,or MOMM for short, is the first of our two football tipsters. Three solid months of profit, culminated in February’s best so far of 15% yield. MOMM bets only on draws, which is not an easy market to exploit successfully, but combined with a simple single-unit staking plan it makes betting easy and results totally transparent. To achieve a 36% hit rate in the Draw market is quite some going, and those average odds of 3.28 (9/4) are more than enough to keep that betting pot growing.

6th – Tennis Madness – 184 tips, 15.4% ROI

Profit: £566.53 to £20 average stake

We’re pleased to say that Tennis Madness actually is a tennis tipster, and from what we’ve seen so far he’s a pretty good one. With the Australian Open behind us and the ATP and WTA circuits gathering pace, February was a busy month for this tipster, who responded in some style with a 53% win rate from 184 selections. Whether it was Match Winner, Over/Under Games, Asian Handicap Games or AH Sets, Tennis Madness came out on top, and at average advised odds of 2.45 that win rate was enough to earn a solid 15% yield for the month.

5th – The Warewolf- 146 tips, 16.1% ROI

Profit: £450.48 to £20 average stakes

The second of our football tipsters to have made it into the top ten, The Warewolf proved his worth with the best of three profitable months since he launched his service in December. Averaging around five tips a day, this tipster will give you plenty of betting activity, and if his brief history is anything to go by, then he’ll be helping you build that bankroll as well. Most of his tips hover on or around the even-money line, but a 53% win rate was enough to convert those tight odds into a 16% gain over the month.

4th – AW King - 71 tips, 18.3% ROI

Profit: £260.00 to £20 average stake

AW King could not quite match his 34% gain in January, but nevertheless his 18% yield in February can be seen as a consolidation of a service with serious potential for his followers. Kicking off with a juicy 20/1 winner on the first day of February was a perfect springboard for eight further winners priced between 2/1 and 5/1, while a grandstand finish of winners at 12/1, 8/1 and 17/2 put the icing on an excellent month.

3rd –Around The Orange Ball - 81 tips, 30.0% ROI

Profit: £486.86 to £20 average stake

We always like when less mainstream sports gatecrash the horse racing and football party, so it’s good to see Around The Orange Ball flying the flag for basketball. In the tight lines of hardcourt betting, ATOB’s tips only average 1.83 (5/6), but when he wins seven bets out of ten, that 70% hit rate from 81 selections converts nicely into a whopping 30% ROI for the month. With March Madness about to get under way and the NBA season reaching the business end, this could be a great time to benefit from this tipster’s expertise.

2nd –Shrewd Tips - 167tips, 33.5% ROI

Profit: £1119.50 to £20 average stake

February’s runner-up is Shrewd Tips, for whom the clue is in the name, as it has been his shrewd knowledge of horse racing betting markets that has brought four straight months of unrelenting profit since he launched his service at the back end of October. Never one to shy away from horses well down the betting, his average published odds of nearly 8/1 should statistically have returned a win rate of 11%. The fact that 19% of his 167 selections in February passed the post first accounts for that eye-catching yield of 33.5% ROI - that’s an average of one 8/1 winner every day from 5 or six tips per day.

1st – Boro - 44 tips, 34.3% ROI

Profit: £301.60 to £20 average stake

And so, with a drumroll and a fanfare, we’re pleased to announce that January’s Newcomer of the Month is Boro, who has continued his great start to 2020, backing up a 35% gain in January with an equally mouthwatering 34% yield in February. Nine winners priced between 9/2 and 12/1 included four back-to-back successes in the middle of the month, enough to have produced a profit on their own, but it was his further fourteen each-way places that have enhanced those profits and taken him clear of the pack. And the good news is that March has started in similar vein, with seven tips producing two 9/2 winners and two each-way places, suggesting that Boro is here for the long haul.

So there you have it, congratulations to our February winner, Boro, well done to everyone else on the above list, and indeed well done to everyone who didn’t quite make the cut, but who continue to help us to maintain an excellent service for the ever-increasing number of Tipstrr members.

We must point out that it would be unwise to get too carried away by a few good early months, which are, after all, no guarantee of sustained long-term profit. However, a combined February gain of well over £3,500 to level £20 stakes suggests that it might be worth watching these tipsters’ progress over the forthcoming weeks and months.

We look forward to seeing more fresh faces on the Newcomer list next month, with maybe some of the above names starting to appear in the main Tipster of the Month competitions as they build on their promising starts with us.
