⚫ Inter – Back on the Grand Stage

Their journey to the final has been exceptional, capped off with a stunning two-legged triumph over Barcelona in the semi-finals. Inter lost only once in this Champions League season—0-1 vs Bayer Leverkusen in the group stage, the only goal they conceded in that phase.
After bypassing the round of 16 directly, they defeated:

- Bayern Munich (2-1, 2-2)
- Barcelona (3-3, 4-3 after extra time)
The second leg against Barcelona was an epic that saw Inter blow a 2-0 lead in both legs, and trail 2-3 late at the San Siro before Acerbi equalised in stoppage time, leaving Frattesi to score the decisive goal in the 99th minute.
Frattesi has been Inter’s clutch performer, scoring the winner vs Bayern and the extra-time strike that secured their final berth.
