Premier League Sunday finale betting tips

Published

There's still plenty to play for in Sunday's final round of Premier League fixtures, and Tipstrr's pundits have been busy looking at where the best value might lie

The banners are already flying in North London. Arsenal’s coronation as 2025/26 Premier League Champions was confirmed mid-week after Manchester City’s stuttering 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium left them four points adrift with one to play.

Mikel Arteta has his trophy, but for the rest of the division, Sunday at 4:00 pm is anything but a dead rubber.

From a David Moyes Derby that could sink Tottenham into the Championship to a coefficient puzzle that has Bournemouth dreaming of the Champions League, the final day is a high-stakes tactical minefield.

The maths for the European qualification has been supercharged by Aston Villa’s Europa League triumph on Wednesday. Because the Premier League secured a European Performance Spot (EPS) earlier this spring, the extra Champions League place now creates a unique ripple effect.

All matches share the same 4pm kick-off time and can all be found live on Sky Sports.

Nottingham Forest vs. Bournemouth

Bournemouth (6th, 56 pts) are 90 minutes away from the greatest achievement in their 127-year history. If the Cherries win at the City Ground and City beat Villa, Bournemouth will likely snatch a Champions League berth.

Andoni Iraola’s side is currently the most feared unit in the country, riding a staggering 17-game unbeaten streak (W8, D9).

Forest are mathematically safe and missing defensive lynchpin Murillo, who remains sidelined with a muscle injury alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi.

With survival guaranteed and Vítor Pereira’s men winning just one of their last six final-day fixtures, the motivation gap here is cavernous.

Teenage sensation Junior Kroupi, who has five goals in his last seven outings, is perfectly placed to exploit a Forest side that has surrendered 50 goals this term.

Suggested bet: Bournemouth to win at 11/10 (2.10)

Liverpool vs. Brentford

Anfield hosts an emotional farewell for Arne Slot’s debut campaign. Liverpool (5th, 59 pts) need a single point to mathematically guarantee their top-five finish, while Brentford (9th, 52 pts) must win to keep their dream of a historic Conference League spot (8th or 9th) alive.

The Reds have shipped 52 goals this season—their most in the 38-game era—and will be without the injured Jeremie Frimpong. However, the recent return to fitness of Alexander Isak provides a boost in front of goal.

Brentford are lethal on the counter but have struggled to keep clean sheets on the road. Expect any structure to disappear by the 60th minute in what promises to be a high-scoring shootout.

Suggested bet: Over 3 goals at 9/10 (1.90)

Sunderland vs. Chelsea

A straight-up winner takes Europe clash. Chelsea (8th, 52 pts) arrive at the Stadium of Light holding the final European spot by a thread following their vital 2-1 win over Spurs on Tuesday. Sunderland (10th, 51 pts) sit just one point behind and can leapfrog the Blues with a win.

Sunderland’s fearlessness at home has been their hallmark, and they'll look to exploit a Chelsea side that remains defensively inconsistent despite the recent form of Enzo Fernández.

João Pedro (20 goals) is the danger man for the visitors, but the Mackems’ late-season momentum makes them a dangerous underdog in a cauldron-like atmosphere.

Despite that, AI-Odds is looking to build on a 56% win rate in the match winner market across the past 12 months by backing the visitors.

Suggested bet: Chelsea to win at 21/20 (2.05)

Tottenham vs. Everton

The maths is simple: A point for Spurs effectively guarantees safety due to their vastly superior goal difference (-10 vs -22).

However, they face Everton boss David Moyes, who has the opportunity to save his other former club, West Ham, by sinking Spurs.

Tottenham have been gripped by survival anxiety, appearing paralysed in their mid-week defeat to Chelsea.

Everton are loose, dangerous on set-pieces through Jarrad Branthwaite, and perfectly capable of turning a nervy London Stadium into a nightmare for Roberto De Zerbi.

If Spurs retreat into a defensive shell, they invite the very pressure that has seen them crumble all spring.

Suggested bet: Everton to win at 3/1 (4.00)
