14:30 Albany Stakes
- Race details: 6 furlongs, Group 3
- 2025 winner: Venetian Sun (7/1) - Clifford Lee (J), KR Burke (T)
The Gold cup might be behind us, but there’s two full days of high-class racing to look forward to, kicking off in style with this six-furlong renewal for some of the best juvenile fillies around.
Most popular tip: SUN GODDESS
advised by Favourites Edge V3.5
- Aidan O’Brien and Ryan Moore are likely to be licking their lips at the prospect of Sun Goddess getting their fourth day off to a victorious start. This classy filly only just missed out by a head on debut at Naas in early May, but showed her prowess over a longer six-furlong trip (same as today) a fortnight later, cruising home to win with five lengths in hand at the Curragh.
Best each-way bet: DARK ISSUE
Advised and previewed by Bookies Enemy No1
- Dark Issue won by more than five lengths in a very good time on debut at Goodwood a month ago, pulling well clear once balanced. She is likely to improve again for Richard Hannon here, and looks well drawn to give Pat Dobbs another good ride.

15:05 Commonwealth Cup
- Race details: 6 furlongs, Group 1
- 2025 winner: Time For Sandals (25/1), Richard Kingscote (J) - Harry Eustace (T)
Friday’s Group 1 action kicks off with the prestigious Commonwealth Cup, an intriguing six-furlong sprint for three-year-olds that has been known to produce an upset or two in the past.
Most popular each-way tip: ALBERT EINSTEIN
- The short-priced favourite arguably holds less value than any that of other horses making the frame, and it has to be expected that at least one of Aidan O’Brien’s two runners will be in contention at a decent price. Albert Einstein won both of his juvenile starts in May last year, and despite failing to make the winner’s circle in three attempts so far in 2026, he was unlucky to be edged out by a neck at Newbury five weeks ago, and he could be primed to go one better here.
Alternative each-way bet: CHARLES DARWIN
advised by 10/1+ Daily Outsider
- Despite the fact that usual rider Ryan Moore has sidestepped Charles Darwin in favour of Albert Einstein, he is expected to bounce back from his disappointing showing at Naas last time out. If that run was a temporary blip, then this progressive colt should be primed to continue the form that saw him land his last three outings last term before winning his 2026 debut at Navan.
Next-best each-way bet: COPPULL
advised by Hipodrom Elite
- A race of this nature gives Coppull each-way value after coming third of 20 in the Coventry Stakes here 12 months ago. He further displayed his liking for the Berkshire venue seven weeks ago, when he returned from a seven-month break to land a competitive Pavillion Stakes over this course and distance.

15:40 Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes
- Race details: 1 mile 4 furlongs, Handicap
- 2025 winner: Ethical Diamond (3/1F), Ryan Moore (J), Willie Mullins (J)
While not carrying the quite same prestige as the race that took place 24 hours early, The Duke of Edinburgh Stakes has enough quality to give racing fans plenty to get excited about during its 1½-mile duration.
Most popular each-way tip: INSANITY
advised by Value Bet +
- Tipstrr’s each-way aficionados are all over the Alan King-trained Insanity, who won over this course and distance two years ago, and showed similar quality when landing one win and other frame finishes in six outings last summer. None the worse for a five-month winter break, the six-year-old returned to action in good nick when finishing second of eight at Pontefract in April, and he may well have been kept fresh since then with this race in mind.
Outsider punt: BURDETT ROAD
advised by Nicky John Sang
- Down the betting, Burdett Road is capable of better than his bare numbers suggest, with a couple of decent frame finishes at Meydan giving a better indication of his potential. He might find a few of these too good, but with extra places up for grabs, he could squeeze into the each-way reckoning at a tasty price.

16:20 Coronation Stakes
- Race details: 1 mile (old), Group 1
- 2025 winner: Cercene (33/1), GF Carroll (J) - Joseph Murphy (T)
The Coronation Stakes means we have more Group 1 quality to enjoy, this time with nine three-year-old fillies lining up to serve up a tasty-looking race over Ascot’s old mile.
Most popular tip: PRECISE
advised by Thoroughbred Insights
- We can expect Aidan O’Brien’s mounts to dominate proceedings in Friday’s feature race, with Precise just about getting the nod ahead of True Love. She was last seen landing the Irish 1000 Guineas in style last month, and if she can replicate that form then she should again prove too strong for her stablemate, with Ryan Moore notably having switched horses for this one.
Best each-way bet: BLACK CAVIAR GOLD
advised by The Lion
- With the remainder of the field all available at double-digit odds, those seven rivals are likely to be fighting for scraps, with Black Caviar Gold arguably the most likely to make the frame, if able to reproduce the form that saw her grab a creditable fourth behind the two principals in the Irish 1000 Guineas.

17:00 Sandringham Stakes
- Race details: 1 mile (straight), Handicap
- 2025 winner: Never Let Go (22/1), Kieran Shoemark (J) - Ed Walker (T)
Most popular tip: SEET
advised by Tippyman
- Ryan Moore gets out nod again, this time riding Seet for the Gosden yard. She opened her account at the second attempt at Wolverhampton in May, and confirmed that winning potential in a novice race at Doncaster a fortnight ago. She looks like she has plenty of scope for further improvement and should get the chance to prove it as she tackles handicap company for the first time.
Best each-way bet: BINTAZIZA
advised by Hipodrom Elite
- Roger Varian has yet to saddle a winner this week, but might fancy his chances of opening his account with Bintaziza, who won both of her first two outings on the all-weather, and could be forgiven for finishing fourth of 11 last time out at Thirsk, where she was forced wider than ideal in the closing stages.
Outsider punt: AWAKEN
advised and previewed by JamPizza
- George Boughey knows the time of day and he's seen fit to up Awaken in trip here. There won't be many horses that were runner-up in the Albany that go off as big a price as this, and there's a strong jockey booking too in Billy Loughnane. The ground is going to ride really fast on a baking hot day, and if this extra trip suits, the horse clearly has the proven class to be competitive here.

17:35 King Edward VII Stakes
- Race details: 1 mile 4 furlongs, Group 2, 3-year-old colts and geldings only
- 2025 winner: Amiloc (11/8F) - Rossa Ryan (J), Ralph Beckett (T)
The Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes has been won by the favourite four times in the last five years, but that doesn’t mean the same will happen this time in what should be another thrilling race.
Most popular tip: CAUSEWAY
advised by Thoroughbred Insights
- A rare small field this week offers what appears to be a two-horse race, with Causeway just about getting our nod ahead of the as-yet unbeaten Water To Wine. Having finished last season with a maiden success, Aidan O’Brien’s three-year-old has hit the ground running with a hat-trick of 2026 wins across the Irish Sea, and looks primed to edge Ryan Moore ever closer towards his 100th Royal Ascot winner. Best each-way bet: ANCIENT EGYPT
advised by Value Bet +
- Should either of the two market leaders slip up, then Ancient Egypt might be worth a punt to edge into contention. Charlie Johnston’s colt won three of his first four outings, including in listed company on this season’s reappearance at Newmarket, and after struggling on the soft going in the Epsom Derby, he could bounce back on Ascot’s firmer ground.

18:10 Palace Of Holyroodhouse Stakes
- Race details: 5 furlongs, Handicap, 3-year-olds only
- 2025 winner: Adrestia (10/1) - Oisin Murphy (J), Simon & Ed Crisford (T)
Royal Ascot’s penultimate day concludes with a lively five-furlong sprint that offers us one last opportunity to deprive the bookies of some of their Friday winnings.
Most popular tip: JAZL
advised by Vrasidas
- The Crisford yard won this race with Adrestia last year, and they will have similar hopes for Jazl if he can overcome a low draw and a rise in the weights. Significantly improved since undergoing a gelding op, Jazl hit the ground running this term with back-to-back successes at Brighton and Leicester in May.
Best each-way bet: DICKENSIAN
advised by Turf Outsider
- Dickensian has to battle against a high mark on handicap debut, but did enough when winning his season debut at Doncaster to suggest the handicapper hasn’t fully caught up with him yet. Trainer Kevin Ryan doesn’t produce many at the Royal meeting, so we can assume that this three year-old is expected to go well here.
Outsider punt: BLACK STAR BOY
advised and previewed by JamPizza
- Ed Walker is becoming something of an expert at placing his horses here and he might well have got Black Star Boy racing off a competitive mark in this race. The win at Sandown was a very promising effort and there were excuses for a substandard effort in a troubled run at York. The horse still looks to be well handicapped, and the jockey has already ridden a 50/1 shot to victory this week, and he’s again on a horse that appears to be priced higher than his capabilities.
