The Best Verified Football Tipsters of 2016

Published

With 2016 a thing of the past, we review the best verified football tipsters based on results from 2016. We have 15 in total we wanted to include...

Having launched the Tipstrr.com platform in March 2016, we’ve seen some rapid growth and a real positive response from users and tipsters who thing there needs to be more verification in the tipster industry. It’s so easy to go on social media and proclaim to the world that you’re the best tipster in the world. Boom when you win, stay quiet when you lose. No accountability.

\r\n\r\n

At Tipstrr, we were fed up of people claiming huge profits from their betting tips, and we built our platform for tipsters who want to prove themselves to be genuine, and for users who only want to use genuine tipsters. We list every single result on the site, and provide stats for each tipster, and comparison tables to try and help make it easier to compare tipsters side by side. We’ve received a lot of feedback in the last 10 months, and we’ll be using that to shape the future additions to our platform as we strive to improve and be the best and most comprehensive source of verified tipsters available.

\r\n\r\n

This article though, is looking at the calendar year of 2016. We’ve seen some great results from several successful and profitable tipsters. We want to highlight some of the most impressive performances throughout the year, and who could be worth tracking as we enter 2017. Today, we’re looking exclusively at the best football tipsters, as the timing is great with European Leagues starting up again after the winter break.

Best Football Tipsters in 2016

\r\n\r\n

Trying to decide how to rank the top football tipsters from the year was tough. We tried to stick to tipsters who focus predominantly on single bets to remove variance or the chance of luck being a factor. We then looked at average odds and looked more favourably on tipsters with odds around the 2.00 (EVENS) mark. From that we wanted to make sure that each service on our leader board is easy to follow (not too many tips, for example).

\r\n\r\n

Anyway, less is more, so here are our top football tipsters from 2016

\r\n\r\n

15 – Mr.Green – 1055 tips in 2016, 478 units profit, 4.6% ROI

\r\n\r\n

A strong performance from an overall consistent tipster. A steady and consistent trend over the course of the year has left followers with a healthy profit. A varied selection of leagues have been used throughout the year, but with a key focus on Asian Handicap and Over/Under bets, it’s easy to follow. Occasional accumulator, but predominantly singles. May have ranked higher without the accumulators, as the variance/dependence on high odds multiples isn’t ideal.

\r\n\r\n

14 – Beautiful Disaster – 291 tips in 2016, 43.1 units profit, 12.1% ROI

\r\n\r\n

A free tipster, so worth tracking. This account has a distinct strategy – focussing on games where a draw seems a likely outcome. With 2-3 bets for each selected game, a draw is almost always selected, along with a total, team total, or an over/under bet. All in all it’s been interested to see how it performed. With a couple of bad weeks, there is maybe some work to be done – but it’s shown plenty of lengthy winning run and a good return on investment over a sustained period. Very promising for 2017.

\r\n\r\n

13 – Over|Under Master - 613 tips in 2016, 385.2 units profit, 6.3% ROI

\r\n\r\n

This tipster has had a very successful and productive 2016. Focussing exclusively on football, and more specifically the Over/Under market (hence the name). With a consistent strategy, this service is a good addition to any sports betting portfolio. Odds averaging slightly above the evens mark, his 51% win rate has returned a steady yield. A strong start to 2017 suggests more profit to come.

\r\n\r\n

12 – Value Goals - 442 tips in 2016, 279 units profit, 6.3% ROI

\r\n\r\n

Ran by Mario, this service has been consistent throughout 2016. Average odds are around the 1.80 (4/5) region. With a focus on major European leagues, liquidity is rarely an issue. The tipster sometimes covers international competitions too, along with the occasional tip from South America. On the whole, you know what to expect with this service - slight value, and long term profit.

\r\n\r\n

11 – Goal Projection (Premier League) - 263 tips, 211 units profit, 8.3% ROI

\r\n\r\n

A free tipster service provided by Steve Jackson (@goalprojection on Twitter). A very analytical service, that uses data to come up with tips/projections for matches and the season in general. The results have certainly shown that he knows what he’s on about, and has likely found an edge over the bookmaker’s odds. Worth following if you’re interested in the data side of things, and whether it can help you profit from sports betting - this tipster would suggest that it can.

\r\n\r\n

Those guys did well in 2016, but couldn’t make the Top 10 for the year. So here is a look at the guys who outperformed the verified tipsters you’ve read about so far...

\r\n\r\n

TOP 10

\r\n\r\n

10 – Mr Everton - 455 tips in 2016, 385.4 units profit, 10.1% ROI

\r\n\r\n

First in the top 10 is Mr Everton. A tipster that has dipped his toe in Tennis, Basketball and Horse Racing, all without any success. However, his football tips have been excellent. With more than a 10% ROI from over 450 tips, he has proven his football knowledge can help him (and his members) profit. Average odds sit at around the 1.91 mark (10/11), which bodes well for consistency and ease of use. Worth tracking this guy in to 2017 to see if his football profits continue to grow, we think they will.

\r\n\r\n

9 – Outsider Soccer - 130 tips, 190 units profit, 15.1% ROI

\r\n\r\n

Arguably the easiest service to explain! The name says it all, as this tipster backs the outsiders, so expect to be backing the underdog on regular (but not exclusive) basis. Average odds are understandably higher - around 3/1 - and the win rate to be lower than usual football tipsters. However, this still created strong profits in 2016, despite a tough December he still makes the top 10.

\r\n\r\n

8 – Balearic Bets - 470 tips, 650 units profit, 14.8% ROI

\r\n\r\n

A Football and Horse Racing tipster, Balearic Bets has made good profit from both areas. His football tips have returned a nice amount, and the service had the potential to have made the top 5. However, the regular use of doubles/trebles/accumulators means the service won’t suit everyone - namely the higher stakes punter. However, the profit made from football can’t be disputed, it was impressive in 2016, and we’re hopeful this will be the same in 2017.

\r\n\r\n

7 – Java1927 - 979 tips, 864 units profit, 9.1% ROI

\r\n\r\n

A highly active tipster who’s proven through almost 1,000 tips that he can make a profit. Exclusively a football tipster, and comprising of mostly singles, the service is easy to follow. Occasional multiple bets have pushed the average odds up to the 2.50 (6/4) mark, but singles typically are in the 1.8-2.2 mark. With a focus on Asian Handicap and 1x2 markets, it’s an easy service to follow - provided you know how to manage a bankroll and are happy placing a fair few bets over the weekends.

\r\n\r\n

6 – EmpiricusMNNT - 125 tips, 397 units profit, 31% ROI

\r\n\r\n

This guys has been profitable in 2016, nicely profitable. Exclusively focussing on football, this tipster knows the importance of focussing on what you KNOW when it comes to ensuring a profitable service. He only covers a few leagues, but knows them well enough to be profitable. His return on investment is exceptional and with average odds of 2.24, this singles only service is both easy to follow, and easy to “get on” the bets. Liquidity shouldn’t be too much of an issue with the majority of bets being Asian Handicap or Over/Under.
