2017 is upon us, and January is already completed. We saw over 1,000 verified tips per day throughout January coming through our platform - from hundreds of verified tipsters. Horse racing tipsters performed well once more and feature quite heavily on the Tipster of the Month list. However, this month features tipsters from other sports too, namely tennis and football tipsters.
\r\n\r\nIt’s worth noting that a LOT of tipsters made profit this month, so the standard was high. Keep an eye out for our “tipsters to watch” article coming early next week as we look to highlight tipsters who look as though they have potential to make some serious profit in 2017.
\r\n\r\nAs usual, we’ll take a quick glimpse at some of the tipsters that performed well, but didn’t quite make the cut for the list of the top 10 tipsters for January. We could reel off a list of 50, 100 or more profitable tipsters for the month, but we’ll keep it short. We’ve broken it down in to football and ‘other’ so you can check out those that might interest you:

All those guys have done well, but they didn’t do enough to make it in to our list of Top 10 Tipsters for January. That accolade has been saved for the top performing tipsters that have provided the best return on investment throughout the month.
\r\n\r\n10th – Main Tips (Winter) – 144 tips, +205 units profit, 17.4% ROI
\r\n\r\nThis free horse racing tipster has been profitable since starting in October, a good January performance to boot. Worth a follow, especially being a free tipster service. 12/1 Winner Ziga Boy in the 15:40 at Doncaster on the 28th Jan being a particular highlight!
\r\n\r\n9th – Global Secure Bet – 107 tips, +129 units profit, 17.6% ROI
\r\n\r\nPredominantly a football tipster, Global Secure Bet has had two profitable months since verifying his tips on the Tipstrr platform. With a focus on Asian Handicap and 21x2 markets, you should be able to get on most of the bets – though there are a few tips from lesser leagues (e.g. Sudamericano U20).
\r\n\r\n8th – Mad Tennis Moolah – 55 tips, +102 units profit, 18.8% ROI
\r\n\r\nWith 55 tips throughout January, this tipster offers an easy to follow service. Occasional multiples mean the service won’t be for everyone, but with 4 months of verified results, the tipster looks to have an edge, making members consistent profits.
\r\n\r\n7th – @ The Races – 42 tips, +51 units profit, 19.9% ROI
\r\n\r\nNew to the Tipstrr platform in January, At The Races hit the ground running and has provided a good return to date. Average odds aren’t especially high, so risk factor is quite low. With a 38% win rate from 42 tips it could well be a service that would suit many punters.
\r\n\r\n6th – No Bet – 40 tips, +85 units profit, 21.4% ROI
\r\n\r\nAfter a solid December, January also proved to be nicely profitable. The service still has a way to go to become a consistent performer after a tough 2016 summer period, but if the last two months are anything to go by, a corner seems to have been turned by this football tipster.
\r\n\r\n5th – Dark Horse Syndicate – 103 tips, +59.8 units profit, 22.6% ROI
\r\n\r\nAfter a slight loss in December, the Dark Horse Syndicate performed well in January with a 22.6% ROI. Still early doors for this service, but the initial signs show it could be a profitable one to follow. Sensible varied staking, and reasonable average odds make for an easy to follow horse racing tipster.
\r\n\r\n4th – Thomo’s Tips – 46 tips, +180 units profit, 40.4% ROI
\r\n\r\nThis football tipsters has been on the Tipstrr platform verifying tips for a long while. After a tough 16-17 season before December, The Christmas period has proved to be a good turning point, meaning January saw some very good profits. Predominantly single bets, but the occasional double/treble too – most notably a nice winning Premier League treble of West Ham, Everton and West Brom on 21st January priced at over 12/1.
\r\n\r\n3rd – Racing Tipster – 164 tips, +922 units profit, 41.2% ROI
\r\n\r\n2017 has certainly started very strongly for this Horse Racing tipster. Some very nice winners, and a Return on Investment of over 40% is hard to fault. January is only one month though, so we’d like to see more similar months as we move through 2017 to suggest this tipster has really turned a corner and is making more consistent profits. Can he do it, let’s see if he features in next month’s article!

\r\n\r\nHaving only started at Tipstrr in December, this tipster has started very well. We certainly hope to see more months as profitable as this one to know that this tipster has what it takes to provide regular profits. Plenty of winners (over 30%) and with some at decent prices like Poyle Vinnie at 13/2 and a couple of winning doubles at 18/1 and 6/1. Keep your eye on this service, it looks like it could be one to watch as 2017 progresses.

\r\n\r\nThe #1 most profitable tipster on the Tipstrr.com starts 2017 with a bang and some very impressive returns. Providing 1-4 tips per day, along with regular trixies means the tipster is pretty straight forward to follow. Prices often drop and considering emails are sent out the evening before the game he’ll beat the SP on most tips. Plenty of high priced winners means risk is slightly higher (longer losing spells), but rewards come greater too. 19th Jan is a prime example with 10/1 Zorovan and 4/1 Bring On A Spinner both winning as singles, and combining for 1 54/1 double (and a 54/1 treble with a non-runner). This tipster has proven time and again that long term, you’ll make a good profit – he’s made almost 4,000 units profit in 11 months.
