Don't forget to write

Published

If you enjoy writing about the sports you love, then just a few minutes work could get your articles published on the Tipstrr site and your tipster service promoted on social media

If you're looking for a way to promote your service to thousands of Tipstrr members and followers on social media, then we have just the opportunity for you. And it really couldn't be simpler.

All you have to do is to spend a few minutes writing a short preview for any sporting event available on the Tipstrr platform. Not only will this be of interest to Tipstrr's users, it will also add some professional depth and substance to your tipster service, giving you the chance to showcase your expertise in a way that might just give you an edge on your competitors..

Besides featuring on our main page, any published articles will also be promoted on our Twitter and Facebook platforms to give your service full social media exposure.

An easy way to be seen by Tipstrr's 10,000+ registered users

  1. Select your chosen event as usual from the search bar at the top of the Tipstrr home page
  2. Click on either of the two blue "Write Article" buttons near the top of the page
  3. Write your event preview in the text box that opens up, using formatting tools if desired
  4. Don't forget to add your Twitter handle in the available box to maximise your exposure on social media.
  5. When you're happy with your preview, then just click the orange "Submit" button.

That's all there is to it - job done. See, we told you it was simple.

Your submitted article will then drop into our preview queue, where our editorial team will make sure it is suitable for publication before releasing it to appear on our home page. The best articles will gain prominence as our main featured event preview.

Please note that articles will be published on a first-come first-served basis, which means that if you fancy writing something about a particular event, then the sooner you submit it the better to prevent someone else beating you to it.

We would recommends that you submit any previews at least 6 hours before an event, and even earlier if possible. The day before would be ideal, as this will give us time to process it, and will also maximise tha amount of time that the preview remains relevant for interested site members to read.

What should be in the preview article?

As we said, your preview will be proofed by our editing team prior to publication, but as long as it meets the following basic criteria then it is more than likely to be published

  • There is no limit on article length, but we would ask for a minimum of 100-150+ words to ensure it has some substance
  • Try to include at least one piece of analysis regarding form, statistics, head to head or player/jockey news, etc.
  • Good grammar and spelling is preferred, of course, but don't worry too much - our editing team will tidy things up for you.
  • Please do not promote your own service within the article, nor any specific tips relating to the event
  • Try to avoid using the first person in your writing (eg, "I think...", "In my opinion...", etc)

The last couple of points are important as the event preview is not meant to be a self-promoting exercise in itself. However, it is acceptable to give betting hints in less specific terms, such as 'there is likely to be goals' or 'there might be some value in the handicap', etc.

What are the benefits?

Not only do Tipstrr members have some interesting content to read on specific sporting events, but your service gains valuable recognition on the site.

You will enjoy social media exposure, linking to your article, your Tipstrr profile and to your Twitter handle if you provide it.

Some of you may have never been seen amongst the competition, but now is your chance to stand out from the rest of the crowd.

So there you go, just search an event, submit an article, be seen and boost your membership.

Now is your time to shine and be rewarded.
