Match preview for Fulham vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Fulham gave themselves a chance of a miraculous escape from relegation after losing just one of eight games up to the end of February, Their main issue all season has been securing all three points, as they have won just three of their last twenty games, despite drawing ten of them. They put themselves within three points of Newcastle United, but three straight defeats have stalled their momentum, and the way they squandered a one-goal advantage to lose 3-1 at Aston Villa last weekend was doubly frustrating for manager Scott Parker.
The Cottagers need a win and they might just fancy their chances against a Wolves side that seems to have lost its way this season. Just two drawn points in their last five games means they are not yet out of the relegation woods themselves just yet, although with their next five games against teams currently below them in the bottom six, they might yet put a late run of wins together to rescue a disappointing campaign.
Their meeting at Molineux in October ended in a 1-0 win for Wolves, and Fulham will be more than happy for a reversal of that scoreline.
