Philadelphia 76ers are close to the semifinals of the Eastern Conference. Doc Rivers’ team won the first three games of the series 125-118 and 120-95 at home, and 132-103 away. After two games in which he didn’t really impress Joel Embiid was impressive in game 3 where he managed 36 points and 7 rebounds. On the other side Russell Westbrook managed his first triple-double in this playoff, with 26 points,12 rebounds and 10 assists.
76ers were the superior team in the regular season as well as they won the three games played against Wizards. The team from Washington had a difficult mission reaching the playoffs as they took part in the play-in tournament, where they lost against Boston Celtics, but managed to qualify to the playoffs thanks to their win against Indiana Pacers, 142-115 at home. Thomas Bryant and Deni Avdija will be unavailable for the hosts, while Russell Westbrook and Ish Smith are uncertain. On the other side Philadelphia 76ers have their full squad available for game 4.
