Week 1 Football Tips

Fulham v Newcastle - BTTS NO @ 23/20
Both these team have had strong pre seasons and look to the first game of the Championship with optimism. Rafa Benitez is renowned for his safety first style of football and even with the strength of his squad will no doubt set up with a defensive mentality.? As this is the opening game of the Championship season I am expecting a cagey affair and BTTS NO looks the bet to me especially with the generous odds of 23/20

PSG v Lyon - PSG Win @ 7/10
PSG have lost their talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimavic but this has not slowed them down in pre season with 4 wins from 4 matches including victory over Real Madrid, Inter Milan and the Premier League champions Leicester! PSGF also boast 4 wins in their last 5 matches against Lyon so with 7/10 on offer I suggest snapping that up.

Bury v Charlton - Draw @ 12/5
I was at the Valley last weekend to see a very poor Charlton side grab a draw and all I can see is I will not be rushing back in a hurry! Russell Slade is a good manager but it looked like he had little to work with, he set up in a 532 formation I would imagine away from home he will do the same in order to restrict Bury's chances. Looking at both teams pre season form there have been draws a plenty and 12/5 looks about right for a stalemate in this one.
