I'm taking an indefinite hiatus from 'schtips' both on twitter and on here. For the few who followed I thank you and I hope you got on a few winners! I finish on a slight low with a few losers but a great profit overall and that's what it's all about.
Staking plan, bankroll management and what to expect from me!
You get out of betting what you put in, generally speaking. Research is the key for prematch bets but in the same breath it doesn't guarantee anything. This is so important to remember - absolutely nothing is guaranteed. If it was I would not be here writing this blog post!
Betting is a very difficult game and it's so important to be strict with your bankroll. Tipstrr uses a 1-10 points plan and to keep things simple I back all of my selections using a 1pt to £1 staking plan, therefore the absolute maximum I will bet on tips posted here will £10. If you follow my tips then adjust to suit your own balance by all means but please be sensible.
If you're after advice on how much your balance should be then there will be far more in depth articles elsewhere on the Internet for you to read. I personally keep a relatively small balance and bank often. It's all well and good having £1000s in your account but when it's in your account it isn't profit. It isn't profit until it's in your own bank account.
Most of my singles selectios will be over 2.0 / evens going forward. I like to try and find value in betting. Some singles will inevitably be less than 2.0 if for example it's a late night bet and I fancy BTTS or there to be over 2.5 goals I will back as singles accordingly rather than risk unneccessarily on combinations.
Multiple bets will be a combination of slections at not neccessarily the best of odds but will obviously be enhanced by for four or however many selections.
My horse racing bets tend to be more ambitious as, like abolve, I look for value.
Here's hoping we win a few quid together.
