Not overly keen on too much today. A lot of small fields and horses that may 'bounce back'. Apologies if you've taken an early price on Esprit du Large at Ascot (now 25/1) still think he has a massive chance here and has been set up for this. Looking forward to Shishkin v Energumene, very much one to watch! I'm not one that has been carried away with what Jonbon has achieved (yet) and there are three other novices in Haydock that have achieved more on the track... so far

G/L today :)

Paddy Power Gold Cup 13th November

Was hoping to hang fire in putting horses up antepost for this weekend at Cheltenham's paddy power meeting

Galahad Quest 14/1 1pt E/W (willhill)

Cool Cody 14/1 1pt E/W

Think they will both go off at single figure odds

Telegram

Firstly welcome to recent followers. We are really starting to get into the national hunt season now and we are set to see graded contests at both Aintree and Wincanton over the weekend.

I have just begun a telegram channel - https://t.me/tcsbets

I have done that so i can put horses up early or day before and have a bit of fun with longer ranger odds, such as Lucky 15s and double or trebles. Conditions of races can often change with non runners and or more than likely the typical English weather which can affect bets i have put up. I will start posting on there from Sunday if i find horses overpriced, usually around 3.15pm the day before when prices are out. I mainly use B365 for bets and Betfair for laying purposes.

Hope you all enjoy following and fingers crossed for the rest of the National Hunt season!

2.30 - price big?

Not a tip as such but the price looks completely wrong, would expect him to go off far shorter and you should get stake back on the exchanges (he definitely has a chance though!) Use paddypower and the cash out button if there isn't any support

Hope you have all enjoyed a good week, no jumps meetings tomorrow so be back Tuesday, although it looks as if we could do with a drop of rain

Worcester 13/09/2021

Almost a full week of jump fixtures, starting with today's card at Worcester. Five horses selected at 6/1 and bigger, thought they were a little overpriced

1.15 Mr Jim - Wouldnt typically put up a 12 year old in a race of this nature, but with the superb Kevin Brogan on top i thought he was worth chancing e/w. He jumped the last in front the last day at Worcester (race won by Head on) and looks like he has improved gradually each start for Tony Carroll

1.45 Double Court - Bounced back to form two starts ago at Worcester staying on right through the line. He made a horlicks of the 2nd fence last time at Newton Abbott, so need to put a line through that

2.20 The Golden Rebel - I am confident that this is the most talented horse in this race and, ran well in a very good race at Musselburgh in Feb and is sent for his first start chasing (shouldn't be an issue given his pointing experience), fitness is taken on trust, but price seems on the large side

2.50 Mercian Prince - Think this is a wide open race and looked big at 8/1, price has come in now. Has been in good form since the wind op and i'd expect him to be happier around here than Stratford

4.35 Foillan - I wanted to take on the favourite in this race, Philip Hobbs (Luttrell Lad) tends to bring his novices on slowly and i thought Foillan may be the one to give him a race. Ex Trevor Hemmings horse who made a nice comeback run in July in a bumper, so i imagine he's been ready to go for a while
