Market support for Reverend Hubert looks significant and back on ground he loves he might be hard to beat now stepped up in trip.
He was an excellent 4th in a valuable handicap at the course in July and had already won a class 5 handicap at Salisbury in May.
The extra trip should play to his strengths and with Ryan Moore booked he should have a good chance to record career win number 2.

Puffin Island has excellent form at the track and she should be well placed to run another solid race and have another good chance to record career win number 3.
She was narrowly denied in a similar contest last time when going down by a neck over course and distance. She was raised 3lb for that good run but her 5lb claimer offsets that rise.
She should get a perfect spot behind a likely strong pace and her course knowledge should come into play and give her every chance to record a 2nd course and distance success.

Catch By Breath is officially 1lb well in even with a 5lb penalty so he simply should be better than his rivals in this 0-55 contest.
He bounced back to form in impressive fashion at Lingfield when he showed an excellent turn of foot to win comfortably and with this longer straight likely to play to his strengths, assuming he doesn't get too far back he should be finishing best to pick off these inferior rivals and record a 7th career win.

Charming Kid bounced back to form showing really good speed at Wolverhampton last time and he should have another strong chance to follow up .
From a good low draw you would expect him to lead once more and the very slightly shorter distance should be in his favour on a track where it often pays to be on the speed.
He does face dangers but we have the quickest horse against many opponents who are not proven in this grade.

Buckingham is a well handicapped horse and he has a good chance this evening to record career win number 6.
The horse seems to act well fresh. He won very nicely on his seasonal return before struggling for the rest of the season. His mark has dropped to 70 meaning he is 15lb below his career best win.
The 31 day absence should have freshened him up and the drop down to class 5 company will surely be in his favour. His record over 1m in class 5 company reads 3323 with all those runs coming off a mark of 75.
He is 5lb lower today and faces inferior rivals with many trying to step up from class 6 company. If he can settle close to the pace he should be fresh and well to himself justice and he should make a bold bid to enhance his solid course form.

Although still a maiden Prize Fighting has shown some useful form on his 9 career outings and tonight should be the night he finally breaks his duck.
He ran 2 solid races on the AW this time last year when 3rd and 2nd in 2 class 5 handicaps at Kempton and Wolverhampton. He has continued to run solid races on the turf suggesting his time must surely be close.
Adam Kirby takes the ride and if he can find a nice spot in the middle of the pack he should be fresh and well to do himself justice at the business end of the race.
Most of his rivals come here out of form or with question marks so this looks a good opportunity to finally build on his early promise.

Jorvik Prince was very heavily backed last time at Chelmsford and the market suggested he'll regain the winning habit very soon.
He was moving his head around as the stalls opened and lost all ground from a good draw. last on the turn he stayed on in the straight to suggests he is capable of winning races still.
If he can sort his stalls issue out tonight he should get a perfect sit behind the pacesetters. The 3 ahead of him in the betting might all need 6f so his tactical speed may come in handy.
He is a 4 time winner at the course and has won off much higher marks in the past.

Trainer Ed Bethell is having a terrific season and it might get even better with 4 year old Idoapologise.
He is already a 3 time winner and could and probably should have won at Ayr off a 1lb higher mark in June. He travelled strongly that day but was produced too late and narrowly went down in a 3 way photo.
He was then sent off 4/1 for a better race at Haydock before being freshened up for this contest.
He acts on the ground and this long straight should play to his advantage as he will look to pounce late to deny likely front runner Hayadh who might be his biggest danger.

Good Luck Fox always runs well at Musselburgh and from a good high draw he might be hard to peg back at the business end of the race.
He has many of these covered on previous meetings over track and trip and is a bigger price than the favourite who scraped home yesterday in a weaker race and has to carry a penalty for that success.
In a race lacking much obvious pace I hope the jockey takes him straight to the front to give him every chance of prevailing inside the final furlong.

Latin Five has been in form in recent starts and he should have a good chance to record a 2nd win in his last 3 starts.
He took advantage of a falling mark at Nottingham 2 starts ago when he travelled well and found when asked to take it up at the 2f pole. He hung left when in the clear but was well in command before a fast finisher closed the gap late.
He raced in a hot contest at Beverley last time and was beaten 2 lengths. He seems to struggle to get home with a uphill finish and this sharper 5f trip should play to his strengths.
Hopefully this afternoon his jockey gets him to the front and hopefully have the rail inside the final furlong to get the job done and record a 3rd career win.

Maysong has rediscovered his form upped to a mile trip with a declining mark and he has another solid chance this afternoon.
The pace is likely to be strong here with Brains and Kendergarten Kop in the line up. He'll be able to settle in mid division and should be running on well in the straight.
Last time at Chelmsford he was caught in a pocket on the turn for home. He responded well for pressure when asked and had every chance inside the final furlong. He was no match for a good winner and the form looks solid.
Brains looks the obvious danger and he may steal this from the front, however at the prices the selection is preferred to record a 2nd career win.

Nibras Again has gone close on many occasions this season and it might be the day he finally gets his head in front.
He started the season off a mark of 75 and despite 2 near misses he finds himself off just 70 this afternoon. He raced in a competitive race at Newmarket last time and should find this easier in a small field.
He beat current favourite Ginger Jam the time before at Carlisle (Ginger Jam was slightly unlucky) and has run well here twice with a win and a close 2nd to his name.
Everything looks in place for a big run and hopefully he can record career win number 6.
