A solid reliable tip volume that rarely wavers from between 50-60 a month is enough to keep most bettors happy without putting too much strain on resources, while January’s 20% win rate married up nicely with average advised odds of more than 7/1.
8th Shrewd Tips

A regular visitor to these leaderboards, Shrewd Tips has been living up to his name since first gracing the Tipstrr site more than five years ago, suffering just four monthly drawdowns since the beginning of 2022.
Another tipster to operate without the benefit of an each-way safety net, average advised odds just shy of 8/1 have not stopped him producing an all-the-more-impressive 19% win rate, taking his winnings over the £5K mark since this time last year.
7th Interesting Method
- 29 tips, 49.4% ROI, £286 profit
The diverse service of Interesting Method does not explain what makes his strategy so fascinating, but whatever it is, his combination of each-way singles and occasional accumulators has been trending in a healthy direction since first launching in May 2023.
The latter half of 2024 might have proved something of a struggle, but the way he has bounced back with January’s 49% yield illustrates the resilience of a strategy that appears to have long-term mileage.
6th EachWay Profits
- 91 tips, 46.9% ROI, £852 profit
EachWayProfits has been building a solid platform of long-term growth since first setting up shop on Tipstrr at the back end of 2023, and although January’s 8% win rate might look scant at first glance, his 35% each-way place rate was the foundation of a 46% ROI that converted to more than £850 of profit.
With tips invariably published early in the morning, EWP’s each-way selections give plenty of time to place bets, while also qualifying for BOG, which is always an important consideration for such a high-odds strategy.
5th Barreto
- 29 tips, 47.1% ROI, £273 profit
We always like to welcome new faces to our monthly leaderboards, and Barreto celebrates the first full year of his service with what seems to be a long-overdue debut appearance.
Amid a plethora of high-odds each-way specialists, Barreto operates at the other end of the betting spectrum, identifying value at the top of the betting market, but compensating for those low odds with a whopping 52% win rate that yielded a tidy 47% ROI last month.
4th Underdog Racing Tips

Fresh from being crowned as 2024’s Best Horse Racing Tipster, Underdog Racing Tips has kicked off his defence with a third straight top-5 appearance in our monthly rankings after an incredible 24th consecutive profitable month since January 2023.
A strategy based on reacting to market movement means that the prices of his popular tips can often drop quickly, which might not suit all betting tastes, but most punters have been suited by January’s 9% win rate and 29% place rate that combined with average odds of more than 16/1 to add over £1400 to the kitty.
3rd Best 2
- 37 tips, 80.6% ROI, £596 profit
After announcing his arrival as Best New Tipster runner-up in October (55% ROI), Best 2 has now completed eight straight profitable months since launching in June, all thanks to an ability to identify each-way value from all over the betting market.
